Hello Andy My cc50 panel shows temperature 110 degrees all the time and the sauna stove won't turn on. Do you have any solutions ? I turned off the stove for 3 months then turned it on and the problem appeared.

Hey, does it matter if you put the seal in the opposite way? Recently watch a vid on the model I have and the ceramic part went on the motor side.

As long as it plugged in a gfi outlet he’s ok if the splice goes bad it will trip the gfi outlet

Just a point to note on this, this is not how we would recommend changing a mechanical seal on a Waterco pump. Our advice would be to consult a professional trained in replacing mechanical seals.

you are distroying your o-ring, because it was not on properly. You did not see it because it was on the camera side of the pump where it was not properly embedded.

Hello. This could be a number of things, as this looks like there is no power to the card. You will need a qualified engineer to; Check the mains supply. Check the red button cut out is ok (pressed in) Check the main switch is not burnt out. Trace the power to the card by working backwards from it. Please be aware that this MUST only be carried out by a qualified electrician or Tylo engineer. All the best, Andy

No need to feel stupid Nick as there are several chargers used for the Pool Blaster series and it sounds like you have a mismatch. Probably best to contact your supplier for advice. All the best, Andy.

I think you have the same model I do. I think it barely clips in there. I am not sure though because I thought I was charging it overnight but it didn't run as long as I thought it would. I only have a large stock tank and it got half of it done.

Gday Andy. I know you made this post some time ago but people like me are still searching and using your ideas. I am about to undertake this venture (qualified electrician) and need to keep within the wiring rules we have here in Oz. Just curious as I plan in using your system but am using the following. As you are probably aware now you can purchase crimps with heat shrink already attached nowadays. Plan is to cut suitable length of waterproof heat shrink and place over one end, Offset crimps as you have shown, then heat crimp heat shrinks, Wrap in the connection in self amalgamating tape (stops any sharp edges from crimp penetrating heat shrink then place heat shrink over tape then shrink. Bit of overkill but guaranteed never to break down in water, Using a 12 volt DC system with 3 Watt LED.

We still use this method using a crimp (high quality), tape ( self-amalgamating) and heat shrink, however the heat shrink we use has a resin built in so as it heats and contracts you can see the resin squeeze out. When cooled this is very strong and waterproof. All the best, Andy

Hello Andy! My cc50 displays on powering the code 302 first, then 51, then temperature. And then, there is no any heating and the buttons on the panel don’t react. Do you know what may be a problème ? This is the model with 4 dip switches.

Hi Serguei, The cc50 with the 4 DIP switches has not been made for many years now. Code 51 code is the panel type, the other code is not one we know. Due to the age, and not knowing the physical condition of the panel, we would suggest the new cc50, a direct replacement is fitted. Alternatively you could get an engineer to visit to see if the problem lies with the pcb. I hope this helps Andy

@@GoldenCoast Thank you Andy! I see, it is old … :) I’ve spent one day and half and I identified finally the problem - all 6 push-buttons has failed! I bought this heater with the panel cc50, both second hand. When I give the pulses using the strap by-passing the buttons on the panel - all is working. I’ve tested by setting on the heater, by setting set-point to 60 degree- all works fine. Heating and maintaining température works properly. Now, I don’t know how to proceed. I can not spend 700€ for new panel. This is a price of new heater. But I’m glad how this Tylo works and I prefere to keep it. The best repaire way could be to change the buttons. It would be not easy to desolder/solder the new ones, but it is feasible. Another solution could be just to solder wires by-passing in parralel the boutons, to make another remote box with 6 new (different reference ) buttons. Andy, do you know what is a brand and référence of original push-buttons?
