Hi, I bought a pair of RS Taichi GP-EVO R (new model) that I found at a really good price but I'm sending them back to Japan because the knuckle protection digs hard into my knuckles and the thumb is way too long and large, but even worse the stitching digs real hard under my fingernails... Do Racer gloves also have that kind of stitching inside or is it as good as Held Titans?

I think my biggest question is; how do you get used to the feeling? Just an example an Alpinestars glove with the knuckle protector is pretty slim but gives great feeling on the throttle! I want the most protection as possible, but I’m wary for a gauntlet style because I’m worried about not being able to even feel the throttle because the glove is to thick. I mean I know racers all wear the gauntlet style, but for a daily rider what would you guys recommend? It’s a tough call like everything else. Comfort over safety:)

Hello, I am trying to decide between the Alpinestars Track V2 an the MIssile V3 Airflow. I live in SF-Bay Area, California so I would like something with passable ventilation, and I also intend to use it with the Tech Air 10 airbag system later on. Please let me know the differences between the two items, especially in the protection department. I really like the hard knee DFS on the Track V2.

excellent knowledge and wisdom. Ive got a 2014 sv650s, if i want to replace the oem clip ons with a handlebar for street riding im definitely going to need new cables to reach the extended height right?

I just got this, and I love it. Is so well made and feels really premium. Very expensive though for what similar jackets used to cost before the pandemic

I picked up a set of the RST's and love them, the first rain race of the year they bleed a little ink and turned my hands purple for a few days 😂 but otherwise have been fantastic!

THX. You get on other GSXR websites and all they say is pull., you don't have to remove the rearview mirrors. Yeah right. The fact of the matter is that you DO have to remove the rearview mirrors to be able to get the flexibility needed from the front fairing to slip in the nut with the rubber grommet. If not, it'll hall into the abyss.

A jacket that accepts chest protectors and tech air ready putting safety up enough to consider it as a good jacket. BUT, why is it so hard to place a zipper so we can match with a pair of pants. This is so hard to find summer jackets with zippers for pants (apart from leather equipment)

I know they’re a smaller brand than these, but what’s your take on Bison Track Thor gloves?
@707LAKE5 күн бұрын
these gloves lasted me 3 summers without any holes of tears. all others i tried (astars, dainese, held) only lasted 1 summer, and usually were quite worn with holes in fingers on pinky palm edge by mid summer, with no crashes, just normal handlebar use.

Van, great video as always. I purchased the RST gloves from you guys and as many of my previous comments about RST products, I absolutely love them. These are such a no brainer. I could have probably gone down a size to a medium but after 2 years break in they still feel great. These gloves also have Kevlar inside. I encourage everyone to see the full breakdown Van does of these gloves. They are his #1 best seller for a reason. The quality and value make these a great purchase. I know I always rant and rave about RST products but there are certain purchases that I've made where I am extremely satisfied. As a side note. I'm the guy that values quality for a great price and don't mind opening the budget if the quality is worth it and I'm really big on customer service. I shop at Costco for everything for this same reason. And if I can't get it there chances are I probably just won't get it. But I digress . I have absolutely no buyers remorse when it comes to RST gloves, Evo 4 leather and Boots. I travel to work and each time I put on my gear and take it off, I'm always grateful that I purchased these. I'm actually looking to purchased the RST backpack because I need something bike oriented for my daily commutes and what I currently have just isn't suffice and for $40 bucks you just can't beat the quality associated with RST. Plus Costco had a regular puma backpack for $40 which makes the RST a no brainer. As for service, Van has been doing this for a very long time ladies and gentlemen. Nothing against your local Cycle gear because I like some of the guys in there. But STG is family owned and they beat everyone else's price on everything and once you apply your rewards to your purchase, it becomes and even better deal. Van and Max's videos on products are 2nd to no one along with their shop videos. I've learned how to install my cans, chain maintenance, fender kits. It definitely takes the guess work out of it and they make things easier. I can't say enough about these guys. All in all, great video. Van, I am such a happy and satisfied customer and really appreciate you guys. The STG stickers are on my gixxer 750 and my dresser and thats saying a lot. Keep up the great work bro.

You need to understand. Stg is a privateer team with some support and with family as the pit crew. Seeing it first hand at Road America,and watching Brian focused during rounds, its go time with repairs, and tweaking the set up to get just right. As much as i like your idea, It wouldn't be feasible for them to stop and talk product.
