Did you ever find out I'm currently doing a b18b1 auto swap into my 95 but I can't get the transmission mount to fit

It depends on the 5 types of automatic ttransmissions and 2 types of manuel transmissions. The f 21 Asin-Seiki 6 speed automatic has 2 fir different ways to drain or flush. Its a sealed transmission and cannot be flushed by machine but rather by a 5 round process of run time, shifting, parking, draining and filling, driving, parking 5 minutes draining then repeat four more times and dont forget to back up in reverse on the shifting parts. It just takes time. You spend about 3 hours doing this. But the aisin is the best all round transmiision application in the world on small vehicles. 300k to 400k or even beyond 500k if you do this twice a year. The filter is odd in shape. Its the mist oddly shaped filter i have ever dealt with but simple being pop in pop out and no gaskets its just this odd box thing that looks like a brake shoe is stivking out of the smaller cube part going in. You find the aisin on toyotas, Peugeot skoda, mundeo, ford, mazda, lincoln, mercury,landrover and jaguar brands (ford owned brands of the time 2005 to 2015). You cannot flush an aisin f 21 transmission with a mach8ne because the valve body is not designed that way and there are no ports to flush it. If someone tries to they dont know what they are doing and they are fucking up your shit permanently! You have to flush it doing the process as the transmission manufacturer says. Make sure not to over fill it as this will cause fas bubbles and ruin it. Or just get the chilton or haynes manuel and read it through before you start. Again you cannot flush these transmissions with a machine! They dont have ports and are sealed for life. Anyone who thinks they can use a flush machine has no idea avout import transmissions as these are actually imports like most ford vehicles. Also it takes only import fluids. Not standard atf. Standard atf 4 will create gas bubbles and fuck your shit up. Take my advice as I am not some certified brake changer, but an actual mechanic i.e. i can work on tanks, planes, helicopters, cars, truck, windmills, power tools, motorcycles, water pumps in sewers, ships, 2 cycle, hydrolics, heavy equipment, pneumatic applucations, generators both military and civilian. I also understand the entire manufacturing process and corperate law and federal law. If you have the V6 model whether its the Mazda or the generic Duratech engine it will have the 5spd or 6spd. The 6spd is the Aisin transaxle and the 5spd is the Mazda transaxle wich can be flushed. If its a mercury or Lincoln, or jaguar its more likely you have the aisin 6spd. Read your door for the transmission codes and ask the dealer with you have or check your title depending on your state. Premier V6 models almost always have the aisin 6spd when automatic and fully loaded models and commercial models only come with the aisin. Most auto mechanics who are not ford certified or mazda or toyota certified cannot work on these as your car will become a "learning experiance" for them as simple as i have told you they will over think it as a the older cheap transmissions. Also most of them do not understand planetary gears and things of that nature. These together with passing gears no neutral spinning gears which are all things of the past first seen in the late1980's on expensive imports and luxory cars of those times are now standard for high performance and premium brands even if the brand label is considered "domestic". Ford used these import transmissions for over 20 damned years so now you understand what the average auto mechanic cannot seem to fathom in the year 2019 still today and being so uneducated as to never learn. To understand transmissions you must understand the manufacturing process and corperate processes. Ford did not make transmissions of their own gor small cars that are massed produced and still does not just like the motors. The only true fords where the mustangs and any v8 car or truck and thats it. Even with mazda gone and sold ford uses duratech which it owns to produce engines for its unibodies.

Things that can cause the SRS light to turn on include: Letting battery drain too low Bad Sensor Blown fuse Unplugging the car’s battery Removing the gauge cluster/installing aftermarket gauges G-Force sensors that are under each of the front fenders ($250.00 each) Bad clockspring (located inside your steering wheel) Bad ECU Bad reverse light switch on transmission Car was in an accident Airbag defective/unplugged To fix this problem, some have gone to the dealership to have the SRS computer reset.

Edward rotary life that’s a lot of possibilities I did replace a reverse light connector never been in an accident have disconnected the battery but everything else I don’t think apply but I could be wrong, I’ll try the code first if I could get it purchased a scan tool to reset code but need the code I guess I got the wrong one lol

@@geerap8746 I went and bought me a scan pro tool and that's what I use to go and pick up all my codes what you should do is you need to check with your airbags because a lot of times with these cars they are faulty I have them disconnected in my little brother's 3000GT because of this reason

Make sure you do some electrical testing on some of your relays to cuz you got to remember the car is almost 25 years old in a sense I don't want to see you might even need a new brain for the car we're at The Verge with my brother's car what we might consider when we replace the motor getting a new brain too because these cars tend to fail after a certain amount of years
