Regarding the capture dropouts. I stopped using the USB capture cards entirely, and bought early 2000´s SONY DVR, that can record on DVD´s. It records the footage as it comes in trough the analog input, without any de-sync, in a superior quality. After you are done recording on the internal hard drive, you can burn it on to rewritable DVD and copy it to the PC. You can really see the difference between these two videos, it should be obvious which is digitized by what. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pIS5iaJso6h5bKc kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZnUpYqdZ5J_jqs

I drove a Scania 4 Series in 1996 when they first came out. It was a 124L 360 4x2 with an 8 speed splitter box. Spacious Sleeper Cab with night heater 38 Tonne GVW. It was terrific to drive with a lot of power from a fuel efficient engine , the splitter box gave it a bit extra when climbing hills . I drove it for 2 years and spent many nights sleeping in it.

@gimble4472 ай бұрын
Big appliance shake up is coming in Scottish Fire and Rescue though as unfortunately “Emergency One E1 EVO” electric ones designed and built in Scotland ( on Volvo chassis I think) will start rolling out over the next few years too ( first one should be on the road and in trial by now or shortly, but I’m unsure of where it’s going to be/is based, probably central belt somewhere) although they are a bit behind as they have been out 2/3years lol
@cossiefordman7202 ай бұрын
@@gimble447 one thing for sure is even if Strathclyde and Grampian end up with these electric Volvo abominations, they’ll still have the Scanias for retained and backup units when these electric ones fail, think the best ones they had is the 2014 versions literally the same as the white 2012 with a better ECU map
@gimble4472 ай бұрын
@@cossiefordman720 Yeah I’m pretty sure you’re right there, but the oldest ones are definitely on their way out the door very shortly, hopefully most will find a second life by being exported to poorer nations etc🤞

389 is meant to be classic and not to be modern, you have to compare it with Peterbilt 387

All Peterbilts are beautiful machines made for real truck drivers. Double shifting worse nightmare for European truck drivers. Scania is just Scania.

@@Irontree85 Just accept that American trucks are outdated with unsynchronized transmissions that are a thing of the 1930s. And European engines are dominating the American market.

@topfuelbike9556 I rather have a Eaton 13 speed than the automatic 12speed they fit standard (in my case in a volvo fh4) For the rest..I wouldnt run a Pete or a K-Whopper on these European roads, infrastructure is not made for these kind of wheelbase,not even when you pull a(for us measurements small) 45ft curtainside three axle Trailer. By the way, since Peterbilt &Kenworth are owned By Paccar they show quite some similarities with there Dutch sister DAF.

This was the same year when the Mitsubishi Fuso in the Japanese market launched their semi-truck called the "Super Great". The design of these trucks particularly the side view has changed almost nothing for the past 28 years. Only those front design panels had just a few minor changes. So Scania & Fuso truck design dont really change them often.
@bmad13862 ай бұрын
Fuso only started changing noticeably(a bit) when they got acquired by Daimler-Benz. Nowadays Fuso has been losing a bit of reputation due to slight decline in build quality(namely the engines) Their legendary V8s are still around and coveted in southeast asia
