I am a white person, so I guess my opinion on this does not matter all that much. But dressing up as Alladin for Halloween is not in any way wrong. It's a character made for kids to look up to, and even as a teen dressing up as that character is not bad. As people we should not segregate ourselves more, we should embrace each other. So keeping "a certain race of people" away from things simply because their skin color does not look the same is an awful concept we have been working for years to get rid of.

I have delved DEEP into the reactions of this song, because this special meant a lot to me at the time. I felt it was one of the single most important pieces of art at its time. So many people watch and do not even grasp what is being told in the lyrics, or how it’s shot. The camera battery, the timing of his reemergence to the world. I’m glad you picked up on them, because this is a very emotional and devastating track, and is so often overlooked as just a great sounding piece of music.
