I was playing basketball with our retired group at a local college and a player went into cardiac arrest. I knew where the AED was (because of the Buffalo Bills incident on TV with Demar Hamlin going into cardia arrest) in the building. We were able to use the AED and it saved his life. I will never forget that day and how important it is to know where the AED's are located. PS: I was a Phili[ps Heart Start AED!

*Well if it's only 1 person* at the scene that *is participating* in the rescue, then *someone* has to apply the AED. In this video, clearly, that man realized, it would be him, and *time was of essence* .

Big mistake never stop doing CPR to applying AED if you're the only one doing CPR continue without the AED do not stop doing CPR gave someone else do the AED while you continue cpr. I'm an emt take my word for it

Was informative and besides chest compression it needs to give the patient some breathe through his mouth bcoz chest compression alone doesnot work at all Before starting cpr first of all we must call the patient if doesnot respond we have chech his pulse from carotid artery in his neck if there is no plus and breathe we have to start with cpr

Of course not, because you shouldn't do proper CPR on a fully conscious person (the actor). It would cause him harm. The aim of the video was to show people what actions to take when facing this scenario. Edit: Nevermind, I realized you were likely commenting on the bad technique and not the depth of the chest compressions. My apologies!
