Great video but the background music getting louder is disconcerting to the listening experience.

I have a 7 y.o rescue dog from Romania, I really really want to leave where I live as jobs and any opportunities are dire and bleak where I live, I can't even find a driving instructor to learn to drive and leave with all my things and the dog. I've been trying to get my dog Jenny onto the train so I can sell up my house and downsize somewhere cheaper and with better opportunities BUT she won't even step foot into the train station, she's put up a fight and won't budge and that's before I even tried to get her onto the train. I'm so miserable as I can't leave the area all because my dog is traumatized from her old life in Romania, I'm so angry and fed up I've even started looking into giving her up for adoption because I cannot cope. She's super friendly, quiet and laid back but when it comes to travel it's a huge no no

Can you not just pick her up and hold her for a few rides? (Might be awkward given its an adult) That's what I plan to do this week with my pup. I to have been stressed out like crazy thanks to this dog but I'm gonna push through because it's far better than being alone.

I work overnight but otherwise I am home all day. I am planning on getting a dog soon(she will be 13 weeks by then). I planned on putting a grass pad in her play pen for overnights when I’m not there but every other time when I’m home taking her outside. How can I train her that the grass pad is only for when I’m not home and outside is the right place any other time?

My issue is my puppy isn't interested in treats when I leave- he couldn't care less if I left him an entire chicken, he would rather scream and cry.

I have a 7 months old labrador puppy. He is really good about entering the bus and relax while we are sitting. The challenge is to prevent him from jumping towards and greating (he is very social and loves people) the passengers who are seated, when we walk inside the bus. Do you have any tips?

A tiny JR breed whose ratting instinct means leaping out at passing vehicles or anything fast moving?!

That's not instinct that's poor socialisation. Instincts are behaviours learnt by dogs that only become a problem if allowed to take place

What can you do for an adult dog that already has strong fears of noises developed?
@markferguson69123 жыл бұрын
Very little detail in this video and nothing like the support we received from the trainer. Putting treats on a mat does not encourage the dog to settle on his own. He eats the treats then moves away. Very disappointing video.

My 5 m/o pup is hyper, she used to jump on me, eats without chewing (bet she will win speed eating contest). She’s terrified of noise, tries to run by pulling when we go for a walk. She used to charge into the house, I managed to modify her behavior to wait till I say “come in”, and sits patiently for her food. I will leave her bowl out, she waits quietly until I say “okay”. She stops jumping too. But I have yet to train her to drink without dripping all over and chew her food. Meanwhile, I will use this recommendation to get her used to loud noise.
