Yes indeed. The Polish defenseman was a great guy, but obviously got caught up in the heat of the action. Not a wise play.

Goalies hated to see Pappin coming in on a breakaway. He had great moves and a great shot. He was a mainstay with the Hawks. He, Pit Martin, and Dennis Hull formed one great line.

Lost me as a subscriber, very disingenuous to suggest the Canucks are playing teams below 500 when in fact they helped put them there. Only 20 games into the season, it's not like they are playing bottom feeder teams with the year almost completed. Maybe it's time to give the Canucks a little credit for their play. Wow!

I just cant bring myself to give benning any credit, the damage he did will be felt for years. Linden is saying he didn't want to draft Pettersson, I believe it.

Bruce is a great person, but Tocchet and his staff are obviously the people who've found the right approach to get the best out of the new look Canucks. Thanks to Allvin, he definitely has a more talented supporting cast to work with than Boudreau had, but he's also got a more detailed approach to coaching the squad. And it's working.

@AtticsTV

I don't think he should necessarily have been auto fired, but I think it is clear that our record right now is part due to the 'structure' from Tochet. Boudreau isn't a structure coach, he even admits that. He is a players coach, but our team needed someone to wrangle them in,
@viperswhip
@viperswhip 6 ай бұрын
@@AtticsTV Yep, look at how everyone he actually coached is now playing in the d zone. Now instead of chasing the puck you see the players pointing and communicating with each other to keep the constant coverage.

The Nurse contact is the new OEL contract. Ever since the day the Oilers signed him to 9.25 I've always said wow is that ever overpaid, i don't think Nurse is worth anything even close to 9.25.....i think he's worth 6m max.

Hey Bruce? What do you think of Laffertys play, and would you trade Garland out to save the room?
@HaydenClueDawg
@HaydenClueDawg 7 ай бұрын
I do think he would want Garland traded for a bigger guy. Or perhaps one more solid D-Man. Bruce knows Garland is a hard-working player, but he's smaller & I don't think Bruce believed in him enough to play him higher than the 3rd line.
