Thanks for your comment. I would like to make one with a 5e-fte engine, but it is not readily available in Japan. So I plan to make it with 4e-fte.

What exhaust manifold is it?
@teteteno829 ай бұрын
This is a factory-made exhaust manifold with a processed port. The turbine is a factory made turbine. I was driving at low boost of 0kgf/cm2 when the exhaust manifold turned red.
@printf_helloworld.9 ай бұрын
@@teteteno82 Check your fueling. Could be injectors, fuel pump, fuel sensor or o2 sensor. Otherwise, the turbo may have flow issues
@teteteno829 ай бұрын
Thank you for the advice. A/F is 12-13, so I don't think there will be any problems. But, I've already checked them, but I'll check them again.

The exhaust system may be clogged. or a dead turbine, due to which the gas supply is disrupted
@teteteno829 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment. The muffler has been replaced with a ``FUJITSUBO'' sports type. At low boost of 0kgf/cm2, it turns red, so I think there may be a problem with the ignition timing. But I don't know what's broken.

How does it compare to Yokohama a052?
@teteteno82 Жыл бұрын
The 71RS has a very high grip in the straight direction of the tire, and it seems that it is fast when driving with a straight line in mind. It seems that the grip of 052 does not drop even if the steering is turned, so it seems to be fast if you run with that in mind. I like 71RS.

What turbo are you using ? Normal CT9?
@teteteno822 жыл бұрын
Right now I'm using BLITZ's k1-200v It's a ct-9 high flow turbine I'm going on a hillclimb race so I'd like to try a big turbine What turbine do you use?
@akee80602 жыл бұрын
@@teteteno82 I'm using stock CT9..I'm thinking of upgrading..but I'm not sure which turbo I will choose..tdo4, rhf5,or ct26.. I'm not using any standalone ECU..just a bigger injectors ,fcd and apexi safc,.. I'm still in process of buying the parts. It's expensive. I'm thinking of using the stock manifold but with ported inlet..I'm aiming for 1.3bar of boost max and a rev limit of 7000rpm..
@teteteno822 жыл бұрын
@@akee8060 It's a nice car. I'm looking forward to completing it. I am doing a hill climb race in Japan. The road in Japan is narrow, so we are aiming for 200 horsepower with a small turbine. Also, I'm thinking of a big turbine for big hillclimb event on a wide road. I broke the engine twice. The engine piston broke both times. The stock piston of 4E-FTE seems to be fragile when it exceeds 7000 rpm.
@akee80602 жыл бұрын
@@teteteno82. that's why I limit my rpm to 6800..7000rpm is definitely no for me..even though I'm using ep82 engine and block. which from what I heard has thicker rod but I'm not taking any chance. My car is a 1985 Toyota Corolla with a 4efte engine. What piston are you using ? I know I can't afford wossner or arias or cp pistons..its too expensive..not to mention scat rod..or maxspeeding rods.. if my piston need changing .I will use Suzuki Vitara. They could handle boost well in a turbo Honda d series engine..
@teteteno822 жыл бұрын
@@akee8060 The 4E-FTE stock piston seems to break due to clearance problems when turned over 7000 rpm. If you can get the clearance properly, you may be able to turn it a little more. I've heard that 4E-FTE stock connecting rods break when high boosted. The new engine uses a cp piston. The connecting rod is an h-shaped connecting rod. It was very expensive. I didn't know that the piston of suzuki vitara is good I hope the processing goes well
