I read this on Reddit and I think it’s smart: “ How I got rid of my mucocele at home I HATE MUCOCELES, so annoying. I'm writing this because when I had mine I scoured the internet and found NOTHING useful aside from surgery which is very long-winded and if in the USA could be expensive. This is how I healed my mucocele (oral cyst) in about 10 days with no popping, weird remedies like alum, or surgeries. I first got one in Dec/Jan time and just had it for 2 months as I didn't want to go to a doctor. I tried all the home remedies and at best it would temporarily shrink. I ended up having it removed which did get rid of it completely, and it took 2-3 weeks to heal. However, I got another one recently and was like ffs not this again. This time I used a different approach. Firstly I did a 24-hour fast. It's actually (if done right) good for you to do 24,48, or even 72h fasts, but the main reason I did it was that I didn't want to use my mouth and create saliva or chew which alwayyyys aggravated them. After that 1 day it shrunk 50%. The following 4 days I just had liquid foods, like lentil soup and protein shakes so I didn't waste away. Again NO chewing or saliva is needed. By the end of the week it completely went flat and turned into a canker sore-looking thing and was gone within 3 days. So in 10 days I 100% got rid of my mucocele without any weird remedies or surgery. I also did salt water rinses at 3-5 times a day to clean and shrink the mucocele too. I think I get them because I bite my lip in my sleep, and since then I have had 1 or 2 'starting' mucoceles, very small ones, that I could bite and pop (that's what I did to cause my first one). But I immediately just do a fast and start salt water rinses and they go away again in like a day. To sum up (TLDR): Do a 24, 48,72 hour fast initially. I would also recommend intermittent fasting or OMAD (one meal a day), this minimizes mouth use. Do 3-5 salt water rinses evenly spaced in the day, every day until it is fully gone. When you don't want to fast do a liquid diet (protein shakes, milk, lentil soup, anything blended up) and drink through a straw so you completely avoid the mucocele from contacting food or chewing. You will see it shrink rapidly, and at some point (5-6 days in) you could do easy-to-eat foods like eggs but be careful not to bite your lip. In 10 days it should go away. This is not medical advice and is just my experience. It wont harm you at all to try this, and just requires some dietary discipline. I believe this is the simplest way to get rid of a mucocele and FAST. Hope this helps!”

One of my friend got rid of large mucocele by applying hot onion on it. The method: heating a slice of onion until it’s warm but not too hot to avoid burns, then applying it directly over the mucocele for several minutes. This is repeated a few times daily, aiming to increase circulation and promote drainage. The mechanism: Onions contain sulfur compounds and antioxidants that have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. When applied warm, onions may increase blood flow to the area, which can help reduce swelling and potentially aid drainage.

Someone said on Reddit after taking collagen supplements the mucous cyst went away she said maybe it’s a coincidence, I noticed any thing that lead to tissue repair like vitamins C and Collagen and other minerals and vitamin or anything that has anti-inflammatory properties will help you in the healing process, so search about them as supplements or foods and drinks.

I read this in quora it might help you: Recently my younger brother was having mucous cysts. After having lots of check and running from one doctor to other out of which most were saying to get it cure only by surgery. How it occur- Acidity, change in weather, lip biting accidentally Most of the time it will go by itself and may occur again. After spending almost 4 month and lots of check up and spending money. We searched online and luckily one doctor gave a very good medicine. So i will tell you what to use if you are having mucous cysts. 1. Honey ( as much as you can apply) 2. Becosule capsules (10 days) 1 per day This is the best combination to cure mucous cysts permanently.

For those who didn’t work with them the alum or any treatment; they should see the roots of the problem, like vitamins deficiencies in Zinc, B12, and vitamin C, or take Becasule capsules which contains the Zinc, B12, and Vitamin C and it’s for mouth ulcers, try to it take them before applying alum, Manuka honey or turmeric. Also try to do acupuncture or cupping for the body it helps a lot in the healing process.

Best to clean the boot seal monthly if not every 2 weeks. Could clean instead of replace if no tears or holes are involved. To maintain ypur washer properly keep door open to air dry between washes, dispenser drawer should be taken out so you can dump any water out and air dry all parts of the dispenser before placing it back and clean out filter (make sure to drain from small hose first). Wipe up any remaining water including in drum and run a bleach only cycle once a month to keep mold and mildew away. 🥰🥰🥰

Can you follow up and let us know how easy it is to get it squeaky (as in completely sanitary) clean. Having worked in the food service industry, I’ve come to very much appreciate the NSF seal (it means, among other things, that it’s safe to use commercially because it can be cleaned accordingly). Less expensive equipment, geared to home use is usually NOT designed to that standard (but some stuff is, even without the NSF blessing). With that in mind, what are your thoughts on this unit?

Overall a nice video and helpful as I now have one myself. However, I don’t think it is fare to give 9 stars just because a rail needed lubrication. Would you downgrade a car because a door or trunk squeezed? Just saying…..

FYI - You silly goose 😊 it’s very common to do that as a routine maintenance item for food prep tools / machines - anything that slides on a guide rod. lubricate the GUIDE RODS with mineral oil or a food grade lubricant. Do not use cooking oil; it can get sticky! For optimum performance that should be done every time the equipment is cleaned.

Alright all. I had a mucocele pop up on my lower lip back in late December 2022. It was a nightmare. I came across this video as well as another by PhoMyLife here on youtube and figured I'd give it a try. I treated between early January and late February (approx. 2 months). During these 2 months, I followed the steps in this video (poking and all). There were times where the mucocele shrunk considerably and looked almost flat. However, on 2-3 occasions, the mucocele would seemingly be shrinking/healing when overnight it'd become inflamed again and appear more raised compared to the the day prior (not full blown like it looked prior to treating back in late December but more raised than the day prior). So, I continued treating (poking and all...at one point it in this process it became significantly raised...nearly the size it had been back in late December....and I became frustrated and essentially very carefully cut the top of the mucocele open entirely and then applied the alum...this may have been a bit extreme and I was worried after doing it but after placing the alum, it was significantly flat). Around week 6-7 or so, it was almost entirely flat again, I could feel a small ball shaped bump beneath the surface still and there was a white colored film/tissue along the surface where the mucocele had been. I decided to apply tea tree oil topically at this point rather than alum. I bought tea tree oil (do NOT swallow if you decide to do this, I only applied topically using a Q-tip and I also diluted the tea tree oil using olive oil, tea tree by itself is too potent) and applied for about a week, once daily, for a bout 5 minutes or so, holding the q-tip to the area of the mucocele only. After about 5 days, the area remained flat and looked somewhat pinkish/whitish. I decided to leave it alone at this point. It's been flat and looks pretty much healed for the past 3 weeks. The lip looks focally pinkish with some white color centrally but it looks sealed/closed and flat. No raised bump. No bump beneath the surface. Figured I'd share my update. One thing I did when using the alum during the last 2-3 weeks: I'd poke as usual prior to placing the alum on with the q-tip however I began to squeeze the q-tip in place (rather than just holding it there gently on top) and I personally felt that helped really get the alum in there and to also get rid of that small bump below the surface. This is what worked for me and by no means am I advising anyone to do the same. I'm simply sharing my experience so you all know you're not alone. Shout out to both PhoMyLife and Coco Pug Queen for being responsive to all the comments and questions they've gotten over the years. It's easy to feel miserable and alone when something random like a mucocele pops up so seeing that they're still around and still doing well was comforting and showed some hope throughout this process. Really, this thing was miserable and I didn't know if it'd go away. I'm glad it did.

Ive been doing this for years. I have a bad habit of biting my lip every now and again and unfortunately sometimes this cyst would come back because of that. Just trust the process and let the alum do its job. Apple cider vinegar can work too, just double the cotton ball to create an extra cushion between your lip and teeth to avoid it touching them.

wow, just found this video. My unit has been doing this on and off for a year with the same L2 code. Happens more often in wet weather for me. I also hit the corner of the unit and it will come on for a short period just as you described. Had HVAC techs come out numerous times and nobody has been able to solve this. I am going out there first thing in the morning and looking at that sensor wire.
@paulmezick Жыл бұрын
This was exactly my problem. The worn through wire insulation happened a different position than in your video because my sensor is routed differently. Mine is routed in a path that take it in contact with the blue canister. I'm assuming because of friction and heat, the blue coating on the canister wore through where the wire was in contact. The wire insulation also wore through. This was causing a ground where the wire would come in contact with the copper of the blue canister. My problem happened more during rain/snow as I'm sure this was creating a better contact and grounding the signal. Forecast in my area tonight is snow/rain. This is a scenario that would almost always cause the issue for me. I have high hopes. Thank you for this video!

Potash alum in liquid or solid form is mostly used in barber shop to arrest the blood flow because of the accidental cuts made while shaving and it's antiseptic we can use alum powder in our mucocele(cyst)... So it will arrest the blood flow to cyst it will dry out the area u can peel off the skin easily and kill germs.... eventually the cyst will disappear... you can add turmeric to it... As it is anti-inflammatory antibacterial antifungal antiseptic all proud goes to turmeric... never get afraid of using it
