Huw has been an inspiration in my life. A friend invited me to a Christmas concert in Toronto in the early 2020s. At the time, I was a seminary student, feeling discouraged and facing crucial decisions, especially concerning my call as an evangelist. I had never been to Queensway Church and didn’t know brother Huw, but when he sang I Will Sing the Wondrous Story, my heart melted. Then he sang I Will Go, and that was the turning point. From that moment, I never looked back. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of sharing the gospel in over 25 nations, mostly in small, out-of-the-way places, as an evangelist. Brother Huw also inspired me to study the stories of revival. When I hear him speaking, I believe I’m hearing the heart of an evangelist. I am from Canada, but as I write this message, I’m in the ancient city of Peshawar, Pakistan, near the Afghan border. This morning, as part of my devotion, I heard Huw sing those same songs that resonate so deeply with my commitment to know Him and make Him known. It is not forgiveness. But a payment that God made. We We broke Gods Law (the 10 commandments) and Jesus Paid the fine. That's what happened on that cross. It was a legal act. Even though we were guilty we are made righteous because God only see His son who bore His wrath that we rightly deserved. What we need to to is repent and trust alone in Christ. Everything was made through Him for Him and by Him. By "HIM" I mean Jesus. He was God in the flesh who came into His own creation

Many leaders from the churches in Wales gave their lives on far-flung mission fields, many of which have now sprung into life.
