I'm not sure how this technology works but I wonder how it will affect Neurodiverse People. Sometimes Autistic People, such as myself, can display behaviors and/or traits that can be misinterpreted as evidence of drug use or psychosis. I often stim and rock back and forth and I blurt out words and random phrases with my echolalia. One time I was wrongly accused of being intoxicated when an extremely aggressive Deputy yelled at me and I got scared and started flapping my hands due to sensory overload. He also didn't like that I don't usually look people in the eyes. They mistook my flapping as a sign of aggression but I was just scared to death.The issuse was resolved in my favor but not before I was handcuffed and thrown to the ground very hard. Then the deputy lied in his report and said I fell by myself. This was before cameras so while they were handcuffing me they made sure to yell, "Stop Resisting" with their belt tapes even though I was a loose ragdoll being pushed and pulled in different directions by those idiots. They were resisting themselves and blaming me for it. Not one of those deputies spoke-up about the lie in the report. I might add that The State has deemed me a safe driver to have a license and I follow traffic laws almost perfectly. I'm a good driver! We will see how this works but we have really good attorneys fighting for our rights. Drunk drivers stink!
