Really depends on the building. Some can be in great shape and fine, but I've also seen some that are total disasters

From industrial hub to a major clean up and the look is obviously going to look much nicer. I have seen 3 decker apartment buildings fixed nicely pricey to rent.

We were the first Italian Scillian's to live in Eastie aka East Boston . My elders were the first scillian Immagants to arrive in Boston MA and set roots In Eastie. But we all separated I am the first generation half Italian Egyptian Ballise Greek Albanian from my mother and half American Jewish French And a bunch of other nationalities from my father.

I lived at 136 Marginal Street across the street from the park in the early 1970's until I was 8. We went up on the roof on the 4th of July to watch the fireworks over Boston harbor. Absolutely incredible.

If you add the municipal owned land that is adjacent to the Fells the park area is probably more than three thousand acres.

Watertown, " The Mother Town" founded in 1630.. A land mass so large it encompassed what is now Weston and up through Sudbury.. Its been carved up so deeply that is now occupies only 4 square miles. Recently it's management has gone from town to "city" . It is the City of Watertown. It is being over developed to the point where any glimpse of the Charles will ultimately be eclipsed with more and more higher rise apartment and condo buildings.
