I have this same unit. I do not want to sell it because it is for my personal collection. This unit is for professional use like court and negotiation investigations.

I like to use qbasic to test a formular. If it works i try to make a routine in x86 assembly using debug with batch files.

Oh magnetic disk formats can get wild. :) Before everyone settled on the MS-DOS format, there were so many variations, and lots of tricks to get extra capacity, speed, compatibility etc, etc. Mixed density disks were easily a thing and that's quite possibly what your DD CP/M disk is if you can read the directory but nothing else. The directory would be in track 3 or 4, BTW, near the outside edge.

I have a shite fan I use at work and it gets a ton of dust in it.. I'm too lazy to take it apart, so it gets sprayed with brake cleaner and then dowsed in wd 40 screams like a banshee every time I start it in the morning. I like to think it's crying for help. it literally only shuts up when I smack the shite out of it; i love that fan.

On the video,PINK FLOYD odds and allsorts,1968-1977,I came across the chord "JAM"of the rare bootleg I inquired about on many other videos.Of course,I heard the song in it's entirely on an FM station around '92. Some folks said it wasn't a Floyd song but i say,"yes and no". Studio musicians may have played some of the organ and bass bits while I think Roger sang and the drumming and guitar solo were from Nick and David!

If it ran for more than a week at a time, it’s a successful printer. You’re being extremely overly optimistic in my opinion. Printers need constant maintenance.

Most budget printers are like having a project car, things are gonna break and they require attention and willingness to learn about the machine and maintain it. This sort of thing happens to all 3D printers to a varying degree.

So how many have you owned? It's hard to say if you just got a bad printer from just small sample size? Also do you service your printer regularly? Like any machines is will last longer if taken care of? I have owned several, as well as different brands, and they all can be finicky. I have replaced hot ends, tubing, extrudes. But that is all normal. Now there are some bad designs made, but loaded with klipper can run 150mm. The bearing on that machine make it more reliable then the rubber v-wheels you find on many machine now days.

yeah it mostly just seems like someone who can't really take care of their printer. Doesn't know how to get set screws, nor how to clean a hot end, yada yada. 3D printing is a fairly service heavy hobby but many people aren't willing to put up/learn that.

PTFE lined hotends need servicing, two years is really good. also if you printed above 240c it will fail sooner or immediately.
