Great Work ! What was the silver and red spray you used on the top flange and then you polished it away last the foil back purge dam it appeared to be highly flexible more than aluminum foil was it Mylar ? Thanks in advance Again great work

Hola, es soldadura TIG, de tipo pulsada, es un proceso un poco mas lento que el normal continuo pero te asegura la menor distorcion posible y la menor ZAC posible,

I cringed all the way through watching this dreadful display of mechanised butchery. What a travesty using power tools on such a beautiful piece. I dread to think what that blade looks like close up now which is a huge shame as it evidently took a great deal of skill to make it.

Too aggressive a restoration in my opinion: cleaning and fixing what was broken would have been enough - leaving the patina of time to show the journey it has taken through history.

Pour l'ouverture, je ne pense pas qu'il faille forcer comme vous faites, mais tourner pour abaisser le mécanisme. Il me semble que c'est un système tournant puisqu'il n'y a pas de bouton. Personnellement, je ne l'aurai pas poncée pour garder la patine antique. Juste raviver la lame à la polisseuse ainsi que le motif floral de la poignée à la dremel. La patine était magnifique.

Just thought I would make you aware. I hope you do not live in Great Britain because the only Sword stick you can legally own is a hundred years old plus antique Victorian made one and that does not look up to the fine standards of a Victorian one, more like made in India within the last fifty years.

Stainless steel sanitary ions must be welded with a displacement of oxygen using argon, otherwise a lot of imperfection will appear in the internal part where bacteria will reside and in the case of beer it must be done
