Doug Briglmen you could connect it to a pc via a dmx interface and then buy some kind of MIDI controller and simply put a mat on top of it, so when someone steps on it it will trigger? But I wouldn’t recommend having it be automatically triggered without personnel watching at all times - if it was windy that could easily burn something/someone. So if you are being safe and having someone watching at all times, there’s really no point in having it triggered automatically when the person watching could do it manually. If you wanted a really unsafe, ghetto way of doing things, use an Arduino with a DMX shield. That way you can add a motion sensor and even a safety key and an e-stop. Hope this helps!

Pity these guys sell at a ridiculously high price which - for my estimated usage frequency - is simply not worth it.
