What happened to the bass player and guitar player? I seem to remember reading an interview where Bruce kind of ripped on the guitar player. I could be wrong.

Wow! I just discovered this. I used to love listening to him sing and my soul was moved by his piano playing. Now I discovered this….. I am in LOVE 🥰. Thank you. What an incredible band. Music 🎶 that stir you rusty and soul. I am in love 🥰.

Bruce Hornsby always seems to be the left out Piano Rock Star. Billy, Elton, Ben, Sara, Ingrid all seem to leap to everyone’s mind before Bruce. But I suppose that’s also allowed him to experiment with genre in peace.

how unfortunate for me I discovered/realized Bruce and crew long after they were mainstream...if I were younger id attempt to design my keyboard self after this genius...the mind follows still...the fingers not so much

Fantastic. I stood in the Front row. Living Colour was the opening act, and it was my second concert overall. Cologne, Live music Hall. I saw Bruce serval times but this only with Band. Genius.

I am fortunate to have been backstage at a few shows of Bruce’s and I was musically pumped as a musician , and Psychologically pegged to observe the terrific dynamic of his band and their leader . When Mr. Ricky Skaggs got involved , and made music with Bruce , he rose to the top piano player heard in this house . Ricky doesn’t think he’s from this planet here . Hey ! We still Bluegrassed him Anyway ! Thank You Bruce !

I've been playing piano since age 6. Took private lessons for 10 years growing up. Played in several bands over the decades. Currently doing Jim Brickman style solo gigs. I've covered Elton John songs as well as numerous keyboard and piano based poplar groups from Van Halen to Lynard Skynard. Bruce is one of the only artists that I couldn't do well enough to cover. He is absolutely amazing. And incredibly fast. Mad respect for him and his unmatched skills.

I was born march 31st 1992, at 2am.. from this point onwards.. the legends choose life, rather than some DUMB GAME.. they chose LIFE. For this reason legends remain unrecognized and unrealized from there true potential. Because a real legend would choose family over fame.. like Bruce Did.

The classy musicality of everything Hornsby does is captured here for all to enjoy. What do Hornsby and Fagan have in common? A love of improvisation, and the elevation of popular music genres to levels of undeniably original and exciting ART.

I can't tell you what joy this has brought me tonight, this the 9th day of May, 2023. Exrateresstial talent, extraordinary gifts and flowing thru it an underlying passion for what each and everything each of these performers bring to the stage. Certainly gifts bestowed by God or whatever Higher Power you choose to believe in!
