You'll see that I do that on my Japan videos. I actually had not even started this KZbin channel when I did the India trip, so I was just cobbling together the videos and photos that I already had recorded for personal use... and I just happened to only take photos of the food. I'll be in Thailand in November and fear not, I will be filming way more than taking still photos!

Its more objectification, status-symbol, or sexualization, that's why they will target mainly the woman for selfies.
@travelblonde

It was usually other women asking, so I doubt it was sexual. But status symbol, sure, that would make sense... show off that you met an exotic foreigner.

@@travelblonde Usually they 'use' a kid for the photo, so you can't say no to the kid, but ultimately the men want a pic, targeting the women.

I'm indian and I agree 100% with you. Indian men mainly target foreign women for selfies so later they can say to their guy friends how I had sex with this foreign women. So say no to selfies. And they might grope you in context of taking selfies. They will took the benefit of crowd for groping. It happens a lot. So be safe.

There are 43 UNESCO world heritage sites, Himalaya in the North, 7k km of coastline , 100 national parks, Forts and Palaces, 1500 languages, 8 classical dance forms, 2 classical music disciplines etc .
