Instructions unclear my k1 and k2 feel a little loose how do I fix it or is it normal?

Just installed. It works perfectly!! I just needed to attach the included padding for the hair triggers and it felt great in game. If I was gonna nit pick, I’d like to be able to adjust the brightness of the buttons at the back.

Thank you for this detailed video! I completed this job in about 5 hours, taking breaks to refocus and watching the video in sections before attempting each step. As others have pointed out, disconnect the battery as soon as possible before continuing. The person in the video should have done it sooner. I strongly caution anyone who does not have electronics disassembly/assembly experience to think twice before attempting this shell swap. It requires a lot of patience and a very careful touch. You’d be better off paying a professional to do this. I do similar work for a living and this was extremely tedious. Too many steps, that if done wrong, can brick the Switch.

Doesn't the clicking get annoying

Can you still charge a standard controller or edge controller in the dock with the mod. I have an edge and standard controllers my kids use or do you have to remove for a standard to work. I see i could just convert one dock for use with the rise and leave the other as standard.

Hello, I just got done installing this kit and the rise 4 everything works great! The only issue I am having is now my “X” button will not work. I have tried both the new one and the original one. And there is no response with either. Anything I can do or need to do to get it to work again?

Can you use the same black buttons or just the color ones that came with the housing kit

If the rise max4 is used with the full clicky kit, does the component which is cut still go on the trigger button?

The controller feels better overall after the modification, but there’s one aspect I find disappointing, and in my opinion needs an improvement. - What I do like: The D-pad membrane is designed to press-fit into the back of the D-pad. This is great because it makes the buttons feel more solid and less loose, even compared to the stock version. The buttons give a good tactile feedback, Making me certain I have properly pressed the button. It reminds me a lot of how it feels when the Left or Right stick is pressed in - which I find to be perfect. Now, For what I feel needs to be improved: - Face Buttons (Circle, Triangle, Square, X): Unfortunately, the membrane for these buttons doesn’t press-fit. While there are small silicone nubs, they: - (A. Aren’t large enough to press-fit into the buttons. - (B. Aren’t shaped correctly to secure them in place. This results in the face buttons feeling noticeably loose. Suggestion: If the membrane for the face buttons fit as securely as the D-pad membrane, this modification would make the DualSense controller feel significantly higher in quality. It has great potential but the membrane for the face buttons needs improvement. Additionally, The kit came with some black plastic squares, And two foam pieces. There is no instruction of what to do with these extra pieces.

i dont understand why i cant load my batterie anymore and what haappens if you press the backbuttons-setting button twice?: it changes the colour but why is it just for colour or does it mean anything?

is there a reason why this one (let's call it PFG4 as written on the board) feels (and sounds) a little less clicky than the PFG3? I have had installed the PFG3 first to replace it with the PFG4 but I feel the PFG3 felt crispier...

I dont understand how so many modders are doing the same non ergonomic paddles. Nobody wants to be forced to reach for inner bottons !!! Make it where you have a paddle on middle finger and ring finger. Naturally placed where your hand rest on a stock controller.

I followed everything but for some reason the right joystick and touch pad don’t work…. Guess I’ll have to reassemble the right side a third time… any advice is appreciated!

I have a controller with the clicky face panels and hall effect sticks already installed. Will this affect the install of a Rise Plus Max kit?

For me, the mic is not working and the Share and Start buttons are flush with the control which is very annoying. Took it apart 3 times to make sure the mic is connected properly but still no good. The Share and Start button are a pain to press now due to it being so flush. Won't be doing this again...

I think I received a fault unit. I installed this to the T no issues with the installation but did not light up. The controller works fine but no leds at all.
