@ryanboening random question, but I used to ride all single track, but I got five cvd19 shots and they caused me to have to get three hip replacements, and two shoulder replacements all from May 2022-May 2023. I have a ktm 200, an husaberg 400, and 470. I wanted to get my new wife into riding, but she would rather downhill mountain bike with me and her daughter. So, I don't have anyone that I know that rides anymore because my dad, uncle, d-14, CCC and Michigan DualSport rider club are all old now. Would you want to link up and ride like Tomahawk, Marquette, Jack pine, Holton-Horseshoe/Cedar Creek or other true true single track like MCCCT? @ryanboening yeah how steep and narrow the lips are they looked almost just like the BMX jumps I broke my collarbone on 🤣 kicky lips are weird to me on a dirtbike especially cause I run pretty soft suspension for enduro. I'm also used to adjusting my speed with brakes or pedals but so much of how you apply the throttle coming into a jump on a dirtbike effects it but I'm getting better at launching this kicker to flat I've got in my yard.
@ryanboening2 ай бұрын
@ nice! Yeah I definitely need to stiffen my suspension. It is stiffer than stock but even still it is a bit soft. It’s tough only having one bike with all the riding I do, I need a bike for more motocross type stuff and one for enduro type riding. Never a do it all suspension set up that doesn’t have a lot of trade offs.
@maxatrillionfatstacks2 ай бұрын
@@ryanboening for sure, I mostly stick to the woods but the one time I hit a track I was all over the place but I was on a 95 KTM 300 and the suspension was even wonky for enduro and I think I had the carb jetted wrong cause it had no power higher in the revs where I needed it for jumps. I have a beta 300 now that I think would be better on a track cause even though it's got enduro suspension it's still way more modern and takes hits better plus it has a lot of top end power, it screams like a 250
