Hey, thanks for the videos! Can you tell me why the kubbs are bi-colored like that? I just started playing, and I feel like I’m missing some aspect of the game where this would come into play, lol. I just have a natural, beeswax finished set with no top/bottom distinctions. I appreciate the info!

One positive about bi-colored kubbs is that it is easier for the team that is raising kubbs to communicate how to stand them. They can call out the color they either want up or down. In this case, white or blue. Also, on blasting, it can be easier to tell if a kubb has toppled when they are bi-colored. Let's say there are 7 total field kubss. 5 blue kubbs and 2 white kubbs. Lets say I blast a group and I'm unsure if I knocked a kubb backward and it came back up on an end to rest. I could then compare the number of blue and white kubbs left to try to see if it was already knocked over. If there are suddenly 6 blue kubbs and 1 white kubb, then I already knocked the white kubb over and it came back up on the other end.
