Great video but when squeezing the piston back in the caliper I would use the old brake pads to put in between the piston and clamp so u don't accidentally damage the piston. I've seen the piston crack from the clamp pushing on the inside of the piston. Then you need to replace the caliper too. Just a tip
@flako4u772 ай бұрын
Good call! You can never be too careful with those pistons!

thx, about to do this with my son. i don't understand why u don't need to bleed the brake fluid. i also don't understand how the stop squeal stuff works in that side of the brake pad 🤔 but i hope it's as easy as this was!

My Audi rs6 c7 had the same bolt missing, on the same side of the PCV assembly, after doing the oil screen recall at the dealer. Hard to find this bolt, but I think it's probably not needed, since I drove without it for months before blowing my PCV and doing this job.

No need to apply touch-up paint of the exposed cross-section of the metal after drilling?

@@flako4u77 I bought an Civic Si spoiler to be installed on Civic Sport. Only issue I have is that it didn't come with paper templates. The Honda parts tech where I bought this said the guys at service department may have that on the Civic's repair shop manual for download.
@flako4u774 ай бұрын
@@ybrik5937 you don’t really need the paper. What you can do put a sponge where the clips and bolts go and add little be of paint on the sponge where you see the marks of the paint on the care is where you need to make the holes 🕳️ just align the wing the way you want it before you drill easy bro
@ybrik59374 ай бұрын
@@flako4u77 So I brought it to honda dealership to install the Civic Si decklid spoiler and they won't install it. This is just 1-week bnew 2025 Civic Sport. There is no templated to drill holes at the top of the trunk lid (Yours is drilling at the back portion). Also this spoiler ha the mounting clips and bolts already mounted on the spoiler, but it didn't come with the 2 8mm nuts for the bolts. They also said how does one drill a "square hole" as it looked like for the shape of the clips/retainers. They offered me they can install the decklid spoiler specific for the Civic Sport model. I'm trying to find another dealer to install this or a 3rd party auto body shop. Or probably worse thing is remove the retainers/bolts and just use double-sided tape?
@flako4u774 ай бұрын
@@ybrik5937 if you use double tape is gonna fall out bro trust me. Here is my FB link shoot me a message with pictures of what you have a I will tell you if is possible to add it to you car

Great installation vid! So those two threaded screws doesn't require a nut and it's just supposed to be pushed in?
