I can remember checking the oil on lots of those slant sixes. They'd foam up the dipstick something awful, but those engines would last a quarter million miles. (oops don't tell nobody)

It’s a fun novelty but why wouldn’t you just buy a clean used corvette that after all the mods is cheaper weighs about the same and was engineered to handle the power with a better chassis and suspension.

I knew it was a slant 6, yank out slant, install 340. A Scamp is a dodge dart with a valiant/ duster front clip.

Rubicon in black letters on hood is not factory........... Should be silver which makes you wonder............ Is this really a Rubicon? Has it been wrecked and repainted?

The Jeep is indeed a Rubicon and was never wrecked. The previous owner simply liked the newer style lettering. The Jeep successfully sold and included a set of the original style lettering!

My 2003 Jeep Rubicon has black lettering, on mine. Its factory. White Jeep black letters.

@@rediron44 Wouldn't argue that with you. My factory Rubicon, all original, has silver on the red paint. That's what I was commenting on.

@@XXPS60you know that you can save the arguing by checking the vin! Call the Jeep dealer and verify model and options. The VIN will tell you all you need without shading the seller with snide undertones and immature sneaky insults… by sliding he’s a used car salesman aka liar aka crook. NOT saying a lot aren’t but everyone isn’t a liar but trust but verify, without the immaturity.
