@phillevy3199, There was sailing footage (12:25 - 13:54) but not enough wind to make it a great sailing day. That's the way it goes, the Schooner cruise was worth it.

Paul, Thank you so much for your input and kind words about my work. Alina and William Scott are the inspiration for this story. I was very fortunate to have been given access to this behind the scenes view of their wonderful relationship. By the way, I have viewed the fine work you are doing on your KZbin channel and am very impressed. Thank you again and Best Regards, Wayne Whitley

Nice job on the video Wayne! 🤙🤙🤙 ..... just a little bit ago i got back from a 5 hour bike ride, thought i would get on you tube to see if any new video's have been posted, i was quite surprised to see this one, actually, a little bit refreshing for me after that ride this afternoon. Very good talk in the interview Alina! That day in Fort Atkinson was such a blessing meeting all of you, and for the opportunity to help you with the 103! You know, i forgot the dog's name. 🫢😊 ....actually being there, watching you take off from the airport here in Fort Atkinson Alina, was so much more meaningful and inspiring than watching the video's! Yet the video's are very important also. 🫠 you all are very nice people to be around with, that was my highlight for the month! 🤙

Could you arrange to do a video on their engine servicing and maintenance practices. How often do they overhaul? What have they learned thru the years? During long cross county trips, is dad changing jets from airport to airport?

Thank you for a great HD video! I appreciate Alina’s flight instruction and advice, showing the teardown and reassembly of the 103, as well as the excellent teamwork. Also, thank you for not playing a background music track; listening to the sound of flight is so much better! You have the best aviation channel on YT. Thanks again!

The part of her presentation where she spoke of the youngest and oldest pilot brought back memories of me getting a similar award way back in 1978. I was attending a motorcycle rally in the Rocky Mountains here in Canada. There were about 600 people and close to 400 motorcycles in attendance. (380?) I was awarded youngest licenced rider at 17 and the oldest licenced rider when to Alex Dick who was 80 years old. He had rode up to the rally from somewhere in the southern states. I no longer remember where exactly, but I do remember him and his beautiful Honda Goldwing.

She's obviously very comfortable flying that aircraft now -- her takeoffs and landings are both quite smooth, as she looks to be in full control during a flight -- I'm sure that's a great feeling

Nope, he's that way for real. Very optimistic personality. I have met him in person and even visited his fabrication shop when I went to Truman MN to pick up my Badland 103 kit that I ordered from him. I am glad he has hired some help. Don't need him to burn out and quit making these great kits. There is nothing else like this available.

I’m a retired aeronautical stress engineer and think that the Aerolite 103 is about as good as it gets n the lite aircraft design. I learnt to fly in the good old Piper Cub and was a glider tow pilot with a Tiger Moth along with lots of other lite aircraft flying. I note most of the high wing aircraft use wing struts which I think would give extra drag and weight and wonder if it would be better not to have these struts. The wing strength could be improved with very little extra weight and of course no extra drag. Any comments!

WELL DONE!! A gifted speaker for sure! The visuals are great! If you ever do anymore speaking, the more you do, you will find little by little your confidence will increase. Every audience is different, don't let that be a hindrance in your thoughts, that's growth, you will find ways to reach out to people. As a motivational speaker myself I still do, there will always be someone you touch. As another friend of mine on the island of kawaii has said:"what!? me quit? never!" And that's not just for speaking either. 🤙🇺🇦🤙
