it was a special treat to find powder up top at the end of March. the snow flurries throughout the week kinda randomized where the pow was and the trails to get to them weren't always easy. those rocks though 8_8 .. I cringe every time I rewatch; thankfully, no real damage to my base

where don you ride at? Is the genesis bindings comparable to cartel?
@stickybeats9 ай бұрын
Genesis has a slightly more cushioned footbed and nicer straps, plus the double-take ratchets give you up to 4 clicks each time you tighten versus 3 clicks on the Cartels. The Cartel is still a very comfortable binding, just not quite as cushy. They are the same stiffness. The Cartel X is stiffer than the Genesis though, making it more responsive than the Genesis or the regular Cartel.
@dizgotti13558 ай бұрын
I had Cartel a while back and the buckles would come loose in icy conditions. the Genesis have a held up better for me.

Conditions look great. You look like you need a longer board. Have some confidence and bend them knees. Let that board run. Keep it up.😎
@dizgotti13559 ай бұрын
volume shifted board so it's short and fat. I haven't tried the size up, but may need to demo it to see. I normally ride symmetrical so it took some getting used to with the longer nose, you'll see me clip n snag the nose every now and then.

This is why skiers hate when boarders ride hills they aren't good enough to actually ride. All you do is slide down sideways 90% of the run and scrape all the snow away. Get better first
@temporaldissonance864410 ай бұрын
Skis do the same if not good enough also they create fucking moguls 🤮
@nickbunich316510 ай бұрын
First of all, skiers do absolutely the same thing, this snowboarders vs skiers is a cute joke, but when people take it seriously it's clinical. Second of all, yes, it's not the best way to learn how to ride down the spot, but it's a way to progress. And finally, it's not your slope and not your snow, who do you think you are? If you want to ask politely to do something differently or explain how to improve, you are welcome. What you are doing is just hate speech.
