The machine used to create the plastic body shell is a dental vacuum forming machine. I have included my Amazon Affiliate link for the item in the description of the video. Thank you for watching!

A good improvement on this is you can make the base fit to most hotwheels cars. Not just that ae86. Make the chassis to be able to adjust the length. Just like the one in tls garage YT channel

Really nice job! I guess that lot of those spare parts are PP or PE plastic ? What glue did you use for them ?
@projectworkshop10 ай бұрын
Thank you! Sorry, I’m not sure what kind of plastic all the parts are. I have a box that I toss any interesting plastic parts I come across in for future use. I prefer Bob Smith CA glue for all of my model projects.

THe driveshaft kit you suggested AXI131611 is too short. PLease update
@projectworkshop Жыл бұрын
Hey there, sorry to hear you are having trouble with the fitment. The kit includes a few different driveshaft lengths. The driveshaft you use will depend on the links that you have installed. Different wheelbase setups require different drive shaft lengths. Hope this helps!

Too bad you couldn’t find the correct scale pilot. Need to remember we’re your subject is going. You shot the ship going in many directions. It was some-what confusing on where the front was.

Best design and detail. Like it a lot. Really like the space shots at the end. Feels like the Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy intro. Or Red Dwarf. The final paintjob hid all the great panel detail, the paint might be too thick. An airbrush will pit on a much tinnier layer and show all that great detail. Also, a mat paint will seem more realistic. No idea why, just works.
@projectworkshop Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your kind words and tips! I will definitely try an airbrush on the next one, thanks!
