Thank you so much! I have done the Italian bind off many times, but starting with purl stitch had me flustered for some reason. You broke it down for me and I appreciate it. I liked and subscribed!

Thank you for making this so easy to get to grips with the technique and the diagram for ease of instruction and recall. I always get confused with what to do with the 1st and last 2 stitches - not anymore. You have made it so simple to understand xxx

I can see your face fine but couldn’t see the sock part you are holding up. Also, your glasses reflect back to the viewer.

There are images on my website linked in the description if you need a better view of the sock. I can’t edit this video but I am picking up new glasses with anti reflective coating today and hope they fix the reflection.

How can I be so lucky that you just posted this and I needed it today? And you are so much clearer than the person I’ve probably watched 100 times for 1x1 ribbing starting with a knit stitch. Thank you!!!

I don't know why this has not gone viral. The twisted loop at the end makes it all so much easier, especially when casting on two socks at the same time. Ingenious. I will only use this method from now on. Thank you so much!

My right side starts with a purl stitch, how would you start the sequence? Or would you create a purl stitch on the previous row to create a knit stitch as the first stitch on the right side row? Thanks.

Binding off from the WS to start with a knit is an option for sure. I am going to test out the bind off starting with a purl stitch this week to make a video showing how. I've always worked this bind off starting with a knit but there are a lot of people asking about starting with a purl.

Why do you do the garter stitch section? Is that just a stylistic choice or does it serve a purpose?
