If your first stitch is a purl stitch, does that change your set up stitches?

This is the first time in my 25 years of knitting that I actually learned how to sew an Italian bind off!! I have given up on it in so many projects and I can only wish I had seen your video before. It’s amazing!! And the mnemonic is absolutely genius!! Thank you soooo much for that! This is gold 👌🏼

With the increases would doing a kfb instead of the m1l(r) change the shaping or would it be ok? Thank you for this video, i have made a few pair of socks with a basic heel flap and always had holes at the heel

Finally, I understand this bind-off method! The chart and explanation makes so much more sense. Thanks so much 😊.

I give up. No stupid tutorial ever works or makes sense. You just go so fast and in circles. I can’t keep up and I can’t pause every 2 seconds to catch up without dropping everything and ducking ruining my projects. I’m done. I don’t care what a pattern calls for, I’m never trying this stupid method again 🤬

One of the beautiful things about knitting is there is always another way. If this bind off doesn't click go with what does. If you prefer there is a pictoral linked below this video with pictures of each step, that may be easier for you to work along side.

What length circulars did you use to magic loop the hat? Thanks!
@knithow3 ай бұрын
I would use a 40”. You essentially want a cable that folded in half to be a decent amount longer than half a hat. Half an adult hat could be 9-12”.

Speaking of that Bon Jovi song…I recently bought a T shirt that has a cartoon picture of a lemon riding piggy back on a pear. The text on the shirt reads “Woah-oh! We’re halfway there!! Ohh-oh lemon on a pear!!”
