Thanks for this method. Exactly what I was looking for.

I’ve never seen a Canon AE1 or anything similar at a thrift shop for $8. All I find is usually the crappy plastic cameras. But I keep going back just in case 😂

There are two screws on the top back holding the front in place that need to be removed prior to prying open the front casing. Some people have already broken their cameras, please be cautious and read, do research and such before this

A lens hood would stop all the harsh glare from the sun, I'm sure canon made one for this camera

@Narsuitus granted that is true however cheap screw in vented hoods are available and plentiful

@@jamesal6138 Very true! The Canon Lens Hood 5 cost about $40-$50 usd plus shipping. A cheap 48mm screw-in vented lens hood costs about $12 with free shipping.

I know this is super old but I bought the ekbacken desk with adils and I don’t know what I should do to make the holes because only linmon comes with pre made holes to put the screws in. And if I use a drill bit to make the holes, I’m scared of going to deep and not sure what size to use. Please let me know what you did to make the holes. Thanks
@Bennettsto3 жыл бұрын
If the pre drilled holes are near the place you would mount the legs just use those. If not just make sure the screw are not longer that the table width.

In my case I don't see the cut side. If anything just sand it to smooth or get rid if any table saw burn marks.

I know this is a very old video do you still use the 80d with 24-105 I believe the 80d is a crop sensor. What do you recommend me to get the 24-105mm on a crop body?
@Bennettsto4 жыл бұрын
It’s a great camera to start with, however Sony is just way better. Also I hated that lens, really soft. I’d look into the a6400 then upgrade to full frame at some point.
