I have been restoring a woodlands near me in IN and I’ve sown persimmon, foxgloves and removed so so much multiflora and wc and CC and honeysuckles ❤ the land is healing. Luckily I’m not fighting off deer this one is bordered by apartments

As a reward, wild violets, and wild ginger are coming back as well as some ephemerals

Spot on! I can't tell you how many times I've had arguments with friends and family who absolutely refuse to hear any talk about anything that might mean they can't have the "pretty" plant that they want. They'll fight tooth and nail to get that pretty plant even after you point out that it's a problem, even if it's on the invasive list. It's amazing, really.
