My German shepherd had a limp on his front leg , it went away on it owns but now he has it on his back leg , he has an blood test done , and xray , with the xray , the vet said he had panosteitis, he's 10 months old going on 11 months soon , so he's taking metronidazole 250mg , gabapentin 300mg,and cerenia 60mg, he got lots of inflammation with it , I'm not a vet but I think he should of had the inflammation meds first not 8 days later ,starting on Nov w7 2023 , cause his pain is worst and has to wait . Looking for a second opinions, please do you have any tips , and his appetite is low now . He loves the outdoor and play , it's hard for him , it's sad .
