No other way? Baptism, faith and works together, obedience. Those things are also essential. Just believing is a false doctrine. So is the "faith alone" doctrine. The scripture used in this video is so misunderstood. You really can't nit-pick scripture; decide what you believe and what you don't.

The Church Age is a unique period in God’s plan where salvation is offered by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, entirely apart from works. Paul makes this clear in Ephesians 2:8-9: "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." This means that salvation is not something we can earn by our actions, rituals, or obedience but is entirely a gift from God, received through trusting in Christ's finished work on the cross. While baptism and good works are important, they are not prerequisites for salvation but rather the natural outcomes or "fruits" of genuine faith. Baptism is a public declaration of one’s faith and identification with Christ, and good works are evidence of a transformed heart (James 2:17-18). However, these actions flow from salvation-they do not contribute to it. Understanding this requires rightly dividing the Word of Truth, as instructed in 2 Timothy 2:15. This involves discerning the difference between God’s covenant with Israel, which included the Law, and His grace offered to all through Christ during the Church Age. Israel's system under the Mosaic Law emphasized obedience and works as part of their covenant, while the Church is under the New Covenant, centered on grace. The Bible must be interpreted in context to avoid conflating doctrines meant for different groups or time periods. Salvation in the Church Age is a gift of grace available to all who believe (Romans 10:9-10). Let us approach these discussions with humility, seeking to guide others with love and clarity while standing firm on the truth of God’s Word

The church nowadays is selling God for money
@melissa886726 күн бұрын
It is heartbreaking to witness situations where the true mission of the Church is compromised. The early Church, as depicted in the Bible, was centered on love, service, and spreading the gospel, not on material gain (Acts 20:35, Matthew 10:8). Jesus Himself even drove out money changers from the temple, calling them to repentance for turning the house of God into a "den of thieves" (Matthew 21:12-13). The Church should be a place of worship, humility, and service to others, following Christ's example. But as you rightly point out, there are those who unfortunately use God's name for personal or financial gain. This can be deeply discouraging, especially when the focus shifts away from genuine faith and charity. However, there are still many who remain faithful to the core teachings of Christ, spreading His message with sincerity and love, trusting in God's provision without exploiting His name. While the actions of some may be troubling, the true message of Christ endures for those who seek it with pure hearts.

War is already here
@melissa886726 күн бұрын
Yes, it's true that conflict and strife have been present throughout history, and it seems like we are constantly faced with battles, whether physical, political, or spiritual. But in the midst of it all, the Bible offers a message of hope, peace, and victory through faith. In Ephesians 6:11-13, we are reminded to "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." This spiritual armor is our strength in the face of adversity. War may rage in the world around us, but our ultimate victory is in Christ. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12). In the end, God's sovereignty prevails, and His peace surpasses all understanding. May we all stay steadfast in faith and prayer, trusting in God's ultimate plan and peace. 🙏

No, Christians aren't required to tithe but there's nothing wrong with choosing to give systematically or otherwise. Gentiles weren't required to tithe in the Bible and Jews weren't required to tithe from earned wages. Biblical, systematic (required) tithes were received from either the tithe of the land or the tithe of the herd (Leviticus 27:30-32). All under Mosaic Law. All within Israel. Today's version of tithing carries no biblical precedent. As such, no biblical obligation. We're free to give, not bound to pay.
@melissa886726 күн бұрын
You're right. Tithing, as required in the Mosaic Law, was specific to the Israelites and involved giving a tenth of agricultural produce or livestock to support the Levites (Leviticus 27:30-32). Christians are not bound by this Old Covenant requirement. In the New Testament, giving is encouraged, but not mandated at a specific percentage. 2 Corinthians 9:7 says, "Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver." While tithing isn't a requirement for Christians, giving freely and generously remains an important part of the faith, as guided by personal conviction.

You're right! In the New Testament, tithing is not required. Instead, the focus is on giving freely and generously as an act of love and obedience to God. As 2 Corinthians 9:7 says, “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” While tithing was part of the Old Covenant, New Testament giving is based on grace and personal conviction, not a set percentage.

Read Jeremiah 30. God tells the Jews that once they have been returned to their land after being scattered to ASK NOW. Seems the world is asking this question.
@melissa886726 күн бұрын
Yes, Jeremiah 30 speaks of a time when the Jews would return to their land, and it’s fascinating to see how that prophecy aligns with what’s happening today. The question, "Can a man give birth?" as mentioned in Jeremiah, highlights an era of confusion and reversal of natural order, which seems to resonate with the current state of the world. God’s promises to Israel are significant and His plan is unfolding, and we are indeed seeing the world asking important questions about identity, truth, and restoration. It's a powerful reminder of God's sovereignty and the times we are living in.
