Dude thank you soooo much for this footage !! There’s basically NO footage of Great white especially in the 90s where I believe they were at their peak ! Got any more ?

I was there. An amazing show. The place was packed. Just before the doors opened, the line for the general admission crowd was about halfway around the building. I was near the bar to the right of Oz. There was a young girl there with her dad. Had a conversation with them. Nice to see a younger generation taking a liking to Stryper.

Unfortunately no, a HOB employee made us move from where we were standing, and the place was so crowded that were we had to stand was no good for filming.

I appreciate how he respected the original recordings and did not oversing--a true homage to the band and artist that influenced him. He nailed these Plant / Zeppelin covers that I wonder if Jimmy Page ever asked him to work together. Anyone out there know? RIP Jack Russell.

I guess I'll step up as the Old Head in the bunch. I got to Myrtle Beach in December 1976. I was a Crew Chief of first the A-7D's, then transitioned into the A-10's in early '78. I worked my way to being a Dedicated Crew Chief in Blue AMU with my name painted on the side of Acft. 78-0189. I did that until I cross trained in '80 and became a Flight Engineer on C-141's for 14 years. I saw the world, but it all started in Myrtle Beach AFB. Who remembers the Bowery, and the Alabama Band being the house band for Years?

Stationed at MBAFB 81-88; worked in aircraft mxs. Best assignment in my 23-year active duty career. A-10s will always be my favorite aircraft. Easy to maintain; dependable and lethal.
