Heard this song as a kid. My worst fear was that it would come true. It did.

I know this is a downface song, but watching this is haunting. Out of 4 of our grunge heros 3 took their own lives in one way or another, marrying the wrong person, losing the person they loved, or addiction affected all the that we lost. Seems ro be the story of the generation. Eddie stay safe.

This song went viral on the early internet times. It was downloaded as mp3 on softwares like Napster and Emule with the name Alice in Chains & Pearl Jam - Alone

Some years ago, whenever i cried hearing this song it always made me feel better thinking about Layne and Vedder singing along as a duo to make this masterpiece. Turns out the song is actually from Downface. It makes you think…

Still can't believe when Alice In Chains performed this and Black Hole Sun unplugged on November 18th, 1993. It was such a chilling performance. RIP Eddie Vedder

I always thought this about a song about a young kid who wakes up in the morning to find his mom overdosed on the couch after losing his dad. Ironic, Staley's body was found the same way, but who knows IF the cause/ effect was of the same nature.

To all who are criticizing the artist of this video: Pain is pain. Every artist featured in this video, the song (regardless of who it is from) means something from the artist of this video. DO NOT JUDGE A PERSON'S EXPRESSION OF PAIN. DOING SO ONLY ADDS TO PAIN. Finally, to those who feel that it is their "duty" to criticize - that hurts. Think how you have felt when criticized. NO ONE IS FORCING YOU TO WATCH THIS. THE NOBLE THING IS TO NOT LASH OUT OVER ANOTHER"S GRIEF.
