My professors, who have been professors for at least 20 years, put the writings on paper on the board and call themselves "professor" and they are proud of it. How pathetic compared to you, thank you for the video 👑

Appreciate the video. I have to continually remind myself that W/(m-dot) = h2 - h1 in BTU/lbm versus bringing m-dot variable to left of equation W=(m-dot)*(h2-h1) gives me BTU/hour

You've got the best kind of video for a university-taught subject but the audio quality man ... Thanks for the vid , it helped anyways !
@moehalabi7739Ай бұрын
it would help stating formulas used and displaying your work for the calculus, even for a couple of seconds, for viewers who wish to pause and scan. Sure, this deep into the material one should know these things, but there must be students who are catching up/refreshing memories and shouldn't waste time investigating where you got what from. Thank you.

When the tilt sensor is on, its basically shorting out your pin 2 which is at 5V directly to ground, which as i understand is a really bad idea bcos it can cause a massive current surge more than the accepted input mA current rating?. Maybe a pull-up resistor configuration where the tilt switch is between input pin and ground , and there is a 10k ohm resistor from 5V to input pin to would be better?

For the people confused about the value of line BC, this is because he used the hypotenuse formula (c²=a²+b²) . Imagine lines ABC to be a triangle, BC should be the missing part because lines AC(1.5m) and AB(1m+1m) are given already. Massive thanks to mr youtuber engineer tho cuz his vids saved me so much trouble <333

Isnt the angle 68.20 and not 56.3. Because its arctan((15+10)/10) which is 68.20. What you're doing is arctan(15/10). While 15 in is not the full length of the triangle side. The full length of the opposite side is 15+10 in. Correct me if i am wrong

I thought in 3d you take the moment abt an axis not a point as well as wouldnt there be no moments around the point A bc there’s another connection so the moment is negligible?

I don't know if I'm too late but the only good answer I have is to take a good look on how a force will have an impact on it if no other forces were acting on it, see which way the body would want to rotate.

When I calculate for thickness of the tank's wall I get 37.5. However when I try a different algebraic approach I get the 26.7 mm. Why is that?
@Mortiszy3 ай бұрын
To get 37.5m you must have solved for 1/t instead of t. You should swap the t and the 150MPa to correctly get 26.67(x10^-3)m.
