Excellent and informative video, thanks! Just clicked on thumbs up! I have a copy of Herbert Benson's book "Relaxation Response." Anyhow, as a retired MD Internist, I learned years ago that when we GET STRESSED, our hands and feet are prone to get cold. It is an autonomic sympathetic nervous system overactivity. People say, "Cold hands, warm heart." To which I say, "Cold hands, STRESSED heart!" So it is clear as daylight to me that we need to tone down our sympathetic overactivity that is triggered by stress. The phrase "cold feet" (afraid of something) has the same origins. So when my feet are cold, which happens often, I sit back or lie back and do gentle belly breathing and after a little bit I can feel my feet warming up. But I won't lie: I'm far from perfect in this practice and it needs a lot of improvement. But hey, Tibetans monks train for years before they get good at Tummo!!! I need to go find a monk and learn! And oh, it is pronounced Dummo even though it is spelt as Tummo. It's the same with the word Tao, which is pronounced Dao. The D is pronounced as in the word 'though' and not as in 'dime.' Doom-mo.

Jokes aside. Bad parenting. Angel is smart, surrounded in a bad environment. Point note, how Steve Harvey changed the Angel. Now that is education. Angel should be getting that from her parents.

There may e an additional reason for the Monks' extraordinary abilities. Not only do the monks excel at warding off feeling cold, they also withstand extreme heat. The fact that these skills are so commonplace among the monks is likely a clue. I offer this based on my own experience of spinning copper. Tibetans are famous for spinning copper covered prayer wheels. The monks themselves often do this for hours a day. I tested copper during a heat spell in Florida where the day temps were 99 degrees for two straight weeks. I wore a wool vest and a wool cap in addition to two shirts. I also carried copper Multi Wave Oscillator plates in my pants and vest pockets. I sp[in them at home as well. While everyone else was complaining about the heat as their first topic of conversation, I felt comfortable and didn't think about the heat. I felt warm, but not uncomfortable despite being terrible overdressed. One evening after the temps had dropped to 90 degrees, I went outside with a friend forgetting to wear the wool vest and cap and without the Multi Wave Oscillators. We didn;'t get more than 20 or 30 yards when I exclaimed to her "My God, the sun feels so irritating!" I do believe that the monks focus on spiritual things greatly empowers them even more, but without their prayer wheel practices, they would have a great deal more difficulty withstanding the cold or the heat. I dare say that few would be successful without their spinning copper. It might be said that the spinning copper lays the physical foundation enabling the monks to maintain their spiritual focus. Could they do what they do without the prayer wheel? Yes. But as a practical matter, the answer would be no for most of them. This is why the copper prayer wheels have continued as a mainstay for 1,700 hundred years. That said, few people will pick up prayer wheels or continue it as a practice because it's not a habit we have grown up with. But you can put Multi Wave Oscillators on fans and let them rum 24 hours a day. They are available from various vendors on Etsy. All it takes is a little super glue and a vertical fan. Remove the screen, glue the disk onto the moving center portion, ;let it dry for 4 hours, and turn it on! I believe that we are close to reaching critical mass into transforming the globe into a massive Garden of Eden. Even if my estimate is incorrect, you will transform your own world - and your family plus your neighbors - in a dramatic fashion almost instantly. Here is a link to one of my videos to give you a visual on how to do this. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j3nPfX-wecmFbcU

Tummo is practice of the six yogas of naropa. He was an Indian master who taught it to a Tibetan who brought into Tibetan Buddhism, especially the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism. It’s considered advanced practice. There are many westerners portraying to be masters of this but they’re most likely frauds.

I feel her husband tho. I’d feel humiliate if my other half was being mocked in the front of many people because of having an accent. Steve was also getting too much when he was stating “I think you are fortunate that your husband loves you with the way you are”. What’s wrong with the way she is? To use word ‘fortunate’ in this matter probably isn’t wise.
