Naser... you have forgotten those that made and led you here. This is an affront to Michael, "Mikey," as well as my Father. Shame upon you.

Thank you Dan for all the names and the instrument that each one plays. I added it to the description. I loved your music so much. My first cousin, John Calloway, does Latin Jazz in San Francisco.

Aloha. Mahalo for posting this. Just to be sure the record is straight for the future, Suzanne Case (the Executive Director of the Nature Conservancy at the time) wrote an English language poem titled "The Call of the Birds" in the year 2000 which I was then asked to adapt into Hawaiian; I completed it in May of that year. I originally called the mele "Kāhea a ka Manu" but it was renamed "Ke Hoʻolono Nei" as it was all part of the wonderful project that Suzanne and musician Leokāne Pryor were working on about caring for the land and the biosphere. Thank you for keeping it around with this beautiful performance.

What halau? The background looks like California, not Hawaii. As with all of Kumu Kawaikapuokalani's compositions, it's beautiful
