There should be an Alan style fitting inside the oil filter screw bolt thing lol dunno the name... but on cars inside that threaded piece the oil filter screws onto is an Alan bit design

keep the filter base on that thread when you cut it so you can back it off after and have a relatively clean thread. just saves some time and sometimes some headache.

Ya need a body saw from harbor freight with the lower count toothed blades and it’ll cut through that like butter.

A large tubing cutter works great.. like you would use for plumbing.. they make a chain style for exhaust pipe
