Geeze imagine the trama this poor teen has gone through. I can just imagine him in therapy "I had lived in a tent when I was 15 because my drug addict parents couldn't get a place for me to live in. In the lane of the a. Kid enjoys writing and should be congratulated on the writing not penalized by both teacher and parent. Yes, the real world is out there and harsh, but we all seek escapism and adventure. I can understand teaching a lesson, albeit just following the in the box style school system way, but the grounding is a push. Let her write stories and fantasies, read them if she lets you and compliment the work put into it. If there is another base off real events prompt, help her out with it.
