Dear Theodosia, what to say to you? You have my eyes, you have your mother's name When you came into the world, you cried And it broke my heart I'm dedicating every day to you Domestic life was never quite my style When you smile, you knock me out, I fall apart And to thought I was so smart You will come of age with our young nation We'll bleed and fight for you We'll make it right for you If we lay a strong enough foundation We'll pass it on to you, we'll give the world to you And you'll blow us all away Someday, someday Yeah, you'll blow us all away Someday, someday Oh, Philip, when you smile I am undone My son, look at my son Pride is not the word I'm looking for There is so much more inside me now Oh, Philip, you outshine the morning sun My son When you smile, I fall apart And I thought I was so smart My father wasn't around (my father wasn't around) I swear that I'll be around for you I'll do whatever it takes (I'll make a million mistakes) I'll make the world safe and sound for you Will come of age with our young nation We'll bleed and fight for you We'll make it right for you If we lay a strong enough foundation We'll pass it on to you, we'll give the world to you And you'll blow us all away Someday, someday Yeah, you'll blow us all away Someday, someday

Netflix has their work cut out for them. I am curious once the live adaptation of Avatar the Last Airbender ends. Will they do the live adaptation to the sequel series of Legend of Korra too?

The weird thing about cast albums is that I imagine that they are actually performing on stage but in reality they’re in a recording booth.

For about 6 years now, I've had a routine when I work or study; the routine is basically what 99 % of people do but hear me out. I have all sorts of different playlists saved here on KZbin and Spotify, each of them being the OST from a movie, series, anime, cartoon, etc., that I have enjoyed. Whenever I "finish" a round, I start it all over. But there is one playlist that's only used one time per year. The "Last Days of Now" I call it. The last workday of the year it's played, and during the final song I close every job-related or study-related thing down for the year. Bringing the year to an end, so to speak. This song, the ending of Legend of Korra, is that final song. Only placed once every year. It's not a very important tradition for the world or a very big one, but it brings one peace and I quite enjoy that. Legend of Korra did some things wrong, but the music was one of the best.

im still sobbing to this. I truly dont know why I feel this way every time I hear this ending song. when I was a kid, after finishing ATLA i felt a little empty and that was when I discovered LOK. I like them both and I really hate that some of the fandom dont give justice to LOK but anyway.. whenever I finished an episode and this would play EVERY TIME I just feel so... empty? like there is this feeling that I can't explain and i STILL feel this way whenever I hear this ending song. Currently im rewatching ATLA and im on the last episodes.. after finishing it I'll rewatch LOK again for some closure ! I dont know why im typing this but I just wanted it out I guess!! ><

You and me both friend, rewatched ATLA two days ago, finished it in less than 72 hours and I started korra a little over 24 hours ago and I’m in season 3

Watched all of ATLA, nearly watched all of TLOK (I did see Kuvira's rise and so but not the final battle and final moments of the show). I'd always fire up the TV before or after school to see if either was currently playing and I wouldn't do anything until the episode was done. I'd talk and sometimes roleplay with friends during breaks at school. Funnily enough this song was playing in the back of my head when I graduated elementary school. TLOK did teach me one thing that Korra also learned the hard way.. even if we feel invincible for a long period of time.. there will be moments that will hit so hard, you will feel hopeless, lost, maybe weak and unable to move forward. I experienced this once already. That moment when Korra reconnected with all her past lives with "Greatest Change" playing and Aang saying "When we're at our lowest, we're open to our greatest change"? That's not some fictional bullshit he was saying. It's sound and very real life advice he was saying, just like Iroh did in the first show and the other avatars when Aang consulted them. To all of you at their lowest, don't worry. At this moment you don't know it but in a few years you'll come to realize you were open to the greatest change and embraced it. Everything gets better with time

Just finished watching legends of korra and when this scene played I started to cry because of how connected you become to the characters and when the show finally ended my mind was thinking this can’t be the end trying to deny it the thing Is the friends korra made along way you can hardly find friends like them nowadays i just felt emotional connected to the characters Nickelodeon knew what they were doing

My fave part was seeing them be so supportive of the keyboardist who had the accompanist part. Not as fancy as a melody line, but still an impactful part.
