Awesome.....Fantastic........my Dad born in 1930 (great depression and WWII era guy) best thing he ever bought me was a Conn 88H "symphony model" tenor trombone.....still playing it over 50 years later and it went through a LOT of marching band and running around on the football field. Unbelievable sound.......rose bell and etched with "Conn- made in the USA" on the bell........they go for over $3000.00 bucks for a similar horn today.

I have tears in my eyes. I stood and applauded for a piece I heard on my computer. I think one must be a trombone player, or at least, at one time have been one, and familiar with the piece played on the organ to completely appreciate the skill with which this was executed. Thank you, gentlemen.

Really great trombone playing. However, not my favorite version, Really the wrong instrument for this piece.

I say this reverently --- damn. That was something special. I noted the missed notes at times, and some "un-meshed" passages, as it were. But I hasten to add, I really enjoyed their VERVE, the passionate performanace of their take on this epic song. Is it just me, or is the trombone the absolute perfect instrument for this song? In spite of some flaws, they brought emotion and reaction to me, they brought a kind of awe and terror, and majesty. I really appreciate their performance. Thanks for this video!

Honestly, it always takes trombone players to figure out that 4 people can easily do the work of one. How many trombone players does it take unscrew a lightbulb? Well, now you know...
