@@ducatilex 🤣🤣🤣 I know man. I have a 1997 Ducati 748S track bike I use when I can only book the novice sessions. I feel bad for the slower guys so use a slow bike. I'm looking at a RSV Factory R as a replacement hence how I found you 🙂 My R1 gets me in trouble, so save that for when I remember to book early enough to get into the inter / advanced group.

Zit er zelf aan te denken om het circuitrijden weer terug op te pakken maar iets meer op budget voor erbij. Wat heb jij allemaal aan je Mille gedaan? (Zit namelijk zelf ook naar een mille te kijken) En kun je een beetje circuit onderdelen vinden voor deze?

Nice! Leuke fiets hoor! Zwaar en niet mega snel maar ik merk hoe meer ik ermee rijd hoe leuker het wordt. Er zijn nog wel spulletjes voor te krijgen. Heb aan mijne best wat geupgrade en versleuteld.

Rien d'agressif, super propre, un véritable bonheur à regarder! Avec une moto extraordinaire! J'ai tourné au carole avec la même en été 2003 (canicule) sans durites avia, une catastrophe, deux tours et le liquide de frein bouillé dans le bol! Que de bon souvenirs!!!! @@Ibby.M.I.786 Your opinion, I disagree and thousands and thousands of Ducati owners also disagree, plus it's better for performance. Good thing is you don't have to buy one, I love it. It sounds mechanical and analog, it's a real machine with moving parts, not electric. I have an M1000RR and love my Ducati more, this sound is one reason.

@@j.taveras8447 You prove to me that it's better for performance AND without compromising longevity of the clutch and I'll think of adding one into my 2022 V4S. Not many tracks here in South Africa anyways to use all of that performance. There IS one particular Italian beauty I'm looking for - MV Agusta F4R Let's agree to disagree; besides, if I wanted analog sounds, I would go for an older, more analog bike. One thing I would like to know from you though; is what do you think of the 2024/5 Panigale facelift?

Wat zit er toch een fantastisch geluid in de RSV Mille, een zwaar onderschatte motor. Het is een machine. Goed gereden, je rijdt volgens mij op de grens van je remmen ofniet?

Het zijn echt gave machines. Niet de snelste, niet de lichtste, maar wel super leuk om mee te rijden. Nee hoor, remmen is juist iets waar ik nog aan wil werken, mag allemaal wat later en harder. 💪 Dat hij een beetje wiebelt komt gewoon door de motor rem met terugschakelen, is geen probleem

I've owned 2 streetfighters. A 1098s and now a v4sp. They are both 100% Ducati, and I am definitely not a "fashion boy". Do you own a Ducati, Mr Ducwolf? If so, why so bigoted about no fairing?

@ducatilex, your bike is lovely. Mine was black and I ran out of mods in the 6 years I had it. The best bike I ever had up until my current one, but there isn't much between them. I love the simplicity of the 1098s, and it is way faster round country roads than any R1 or CBR that I have owned. Keep safe.👍

I have the rosso 4 currently and I would like more grip I'm thinking of the ross 4 corsa. I dont do trackdays but I do go in the canyons in san diego. What would you recommend? My bike is the aprilia rs 660. Do the corsa last as long as the rosso 4?

What rpm limit did you have set on your clocks?.it was flashing all the round the lap!🤦♂️( nice smooth riding)..I'm not hating just asking. 👍

Yeah, I disconnected the battery and due to that the shift light was reset to the default 5500rpm which obviously is way too low 😅 Thanks bud!

That is one of the most beautiful bikes that you can buy , I think it looks even better than the new Streetfighter V4/V2 to be honest, and it is not even that expensive, however with the mods and to color it that way would cost a bit. I am so sad that Ducati put a lot of traction control settings on that bike but never put ABS on the 848 or the 1098. I would hate to buy a fast bike like that and have to panic-brake without ABS now that I have ridden ABS bikes for the last 12-14 years I am kind of used to it as a safety feature

It’s a 1098, and no the engine speeds up fast enough to prevent rear wheel locking. Manual rev matching on track is a very tough skill as you need to brake and to blip the throttle at the same time

A Streetfighter 1098S costs normally between €9-15k depending on the state and kilometers and Ducati Performance parts.
