I've had my 2000 DHS for 3 years and I know mostly everything that goes wrong with them they run like a dream u just can't overheat at all and always change all fluids especially the coolant northstars have problems with head gaskets I think it's cause they never changed coolant that dirty coolant circulating then seeping in the head bolt holes and they lose clamping due to dirty corroded coolant

There's a hidden bolt behind the screen closer to drivers side remove and u can can 2 to 3 more courts out the side pan were the dipstick is located

Also just waiting to get the 4 wheel drive fixed and then im going to try get a metal detector and other bits together do some digging and maybe miners licence so i can go north and look for gold and other types of wonderful rocks. It’s a little bit easier if you put the boot on the bottom end of the piston before you put the boots in the caliper. Just pull them down until the lip that goes into the caliper is hanging about 1/2 inch past the bottom of the piston and they’ll pop right in.

The detector still seems to be doing good for yah. Happy hunting buddy.

Nice video but judging by all the rust on there shouldn't use just change out the whole lower control arm. I'm sure the other rubber bushings are on the way out.

I’ve been trying to do this, how are you able to raise the wheel on top of the ball joint? Mine doesn’t let me raise it. Thank you
