It's a good thing they're tough. Otherwise it would be known as Finkes Widow.

Such a very sad time for Allan Moffat now, Allan changed our racing for the better and safer, at a time when we saw him as a bit stuck up, he wasn’t stuck up, he was a professional driver, a smart and intelligent man, but more importantly, a Gentleman.

Aside from the fact it is Brock at work, I'm really impressed with how good his downshifts are. There are lots of clips on KZbin where drivers are much rougher and aren't getting the revs right when they blip the throttle on the downshift. To my ear, Brock gets it right every time. Back in the 1980's and after Brock drove Bob Jane's Monza, Pat Purcell, Jane's mechanic, stripped down the gearbox expecting to replace the dog rings as that's what he always had to do after Jane drove the car, but to his amazement he found they were in perfect condition - a testimony to how much Brock was "one with his cars".

Was it a two stroke only race. Was wondering why nobody was running a XR 600R
@greenfoam9 ай бұрын
There might have been a XR 600 but those were more a trail bike than a race bike so wouldn't have been contenders. Back in those times the 600cc 4 strokes were no where even close to as fast as a 250 two stroke motorcross or enduro bike. Let alone a 500.

I’m trying to grasp everything just got a wii and trying to get it all together for retroarch. Will it just run 240p once I have retroarch? Is it like pc where you set the resolution in output settings?

Did you get it sorted? There's a special version of retroarch called RA-SS on github which makes it work a whole lot more nicely.

Holden had their last run at Bathurst yesterday. Even as a Ford man it was good to see the Holden take the victory. It just won't be the same without the Commodore.

They had to kneecap the GTRs, just like they kneecap Fords everytime they threaten/ed Holden. From their smaller V8 Toranas to the smaller bodied early C'dores and now "parity" because the Mustangs were demolishing them.

@greenfoam2 жыл бұрын
I bet the original son was written on a sid more like this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/jHSXmJSXeaude5Y than the early revision I recorded this with. On this video I linked the SID gives out some background parts of the song that can't be heard on mine but in other sections it doesn't sound as good as mine.. Maybe his SID some somewhere in between, maybe he had a 250466 board
@filuferru2 жыл бұрын
@@greenfoam it depends on what version of che chip Jeroen had when he was working on this tune. Only him knows exactly how the song was supposed to sound. Aside from all this, your version is precious because the vast majority of other videos contains always emulated versions, or played on later 8580 chip. I didn't owned Cybernoid 2 when I was a kid, but my C64 had a very early sound components set, so I'm curious to know if the song as it sounds in this video of yours represents well the way Cybernoid 2 could have been sounded on my commodore in 1988.
@greenfoam2 жыл бұрын
@@filuferru It should be close to how your machine sounded. In a couple of weeks I had already planed to upload some more recordings of this sound from other C64s and SIDs i(both real and reproductions) in my collection. I recently built the SIDkick replacement and have been using this sound to match the settings in my SIDkick to this recording. I haven't got it to sound exactly the same. But it's close.
