Thank your. I am a Taiwanese. This is the first hymm in my life. Before I became a christian, whenever I felt sad or depressed, I listened to it. It made me calm and comforted, but I did not know it was a hymm then. About 9 years later, I became a believer. And When I found out it was a hymm, I burst into tears.

@@DavidAbramskyCello I remembered just now the other version of "Be thou my vision" that blessed me after Dad's death in 2020, it was called "The Irish Blessing" where a bunch of churches got together in quarantine & sang a medley of songs & "Be thou my vision" was one of them. It made me weep as the video portrayed the gorgeous green cliffs of Ireland, but what was really special is that at the end it seems like Jewish believers were speaking a blessing in Hebrew. I don't know Hebrew well enough to say for sure, but it sounds like it. I don't know the diaspora that well either to know if Jewish folks traveled & settled in Ireland. It's precious & I hope u look it up & get some ideas for ur own vlog - I think it would be gorgeous set in Israel with Messianic believers singing with ur cello. Just an idea, or dreaming. I don't see myself able to travel to the Holy land due to health & expenses. Shalom dear brother! 🇮🇱✡🇺🇲🕎 🙋♀️

I did hear one Hebrew word amongst the many languages spoken at the end during the Aaronic blessing. It would be wonderful to do this song in Israel. Hi David! Yet another wonderful arrangement! You may remember me from a couple days ago…I’m the French horn player looking to arrange sacred horns trios. This arrangement of yours would be another one that would sound really beautiful as a horn trio! Would you allow me to arrange your “Great is Thy Faithfulness” into a horn trio with piano? Of course I would not redistribute the arrangement, and it would only be performed for my congregation and possibly live-streamed. Thanks!

Hi David! Beautiful arrangement! Question for you: At my church, there are three excellent French horn players, and we are looking for sacred horn trios. However, it is really difficult to find church music written for this instrumentation. As a college student currently studying music, I don’t quite have the know-how/experience to write an arrangement from scratch…I think your gorgeous arrangement would lend itself well to a horn trio. Would you allow me to arrange your cello solo into a horn trio with piano? This would be performed this upcoming year. Of course, I would not redistribute the arrangement, and it would only be performed for my congregation and possibly live-streamed. I know my congregation would appreciate hearing our horn trio again - the last one I arranged for us to play was a great success! If you would allow me to arrange this into a horn trio, I’d greatly appreciate it! If not, no worries! God bless, Kristin
