This does not at all fit with the theme of dragons dogma, even if you think this sounds good, Youd have to accept that this obviously doesnt really fit with the world or feel of the game. Anyone whod say otherwise to that is just lying. Everyone complained about dd2 main menu song but it fits much better with the the world of dragons dogma than this does

This was the main theme of DD1 before DA. It does not fit at all. And that is why I and many others love it so much; the complete juxtaposition of a dark fantasy action adventure rpg with a a completely out of pocket j-rock main menu theme. The other thing about it is that the opening few seconds, which you would only hear if you were speeding through the menus, sound like they go into a relatively normal, fittingly dark and dramatic theme. But you listen for longer than the first few seconds and it just turns into this absolutely crazy song that hypes you up while you're sitting there from the whiplash of the tonal dissonance. Is Into Free a fitting theme song for Dragon's Dogma? Musically, no, lyrically sort of. Is it incredible anyway? Hell yeah.

Thanks for the reminder once again KZbin recommendations. I used to leave this game on the start menu, crank up the volume, and let it repeat play as I did other stuff. It's the main reason I kept my original copy even after getting Dark Arisen. The DA opening goes with the game a lot better, but still love this one (I just listened to it twice in a row).
