@grandmabente123 there are a lot of different archeologic museums all across the country. Maybe you'll be interested in visiting Kunstkammera (Peter's the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography) in St. Petersburg, considered as the first public russian museum. However, most archeologic museums are local ones, with findings from their specific locations. Definitely worth traveling at least somewhere near by. As an entertaining way - there are reconstructed villages showing a typical old-times mode of life with typical houses, clothes and instruments. They are really different depending on a region you visit. Mostly, workers of those villages are passionate about their job, so better visit with excursion. In case of language barrier you can use google translate with a function "conversation". You'll need to select your language and your interlocutor's one. In places with an exhibition you usually (not in all places, but in many) may ask for an English excursion by a person or audioguide.
