A lot of people don’t know this but large age gap marriage was common in 1890s to 1910s. It was looked at as a good trade off in marriage. Since the man was older he would be more mature, and has money to take care of the girl and the family to come. It’s also one of the reason why house wife started to become a thing in that time. Since the man had the resources and money there wasn’t much need for the wife to work for money that much. If you want to know what the man got in this trade off marriage. They got a young Beautiful wife. That latter on when the man got old they would have someone as a caretaker for them.

I've dated mostly white men. I've never dated a black man. I've dated men of different races; Caucasian, Latino, Japanese, Chinese, My sister wondered why I didn't date black men. I told her that the men that I dated had more to offer me and different things to offer me. They showed me more of the world that I wanted to see and experience. I feel that my life experiences have given me a sense of purpose, meaning, and Intellectual depth in my life. Ever since I was a young girl, I've received negative comments about my appearance from black males. That made me feel bad about my self-esteem and my self worth. I've experienced positive comments from men who were not of my black race. I am attracted to men who like me and who don't reject me because I don't fit their idea of what a black female should look like.
