That could be due to several potential issues. First, set up a small section of straight track and place the engine only on it. Second,if it still doesn't run,check your power connections at the power supply, and the track. Also make sure that the power supply is in working order. If all power connections are good, but the locomotive still doesn't run, there could be a broken or shorted connection inside the locomotive. One common issue is that the front 4 wheel pilot sometimes gets turned around so that it faces in the reverse direction. That is usually a simple fix. Lay the locomotive on it's side on a thick towel and check the front 4 wheel truck. There should be a forward facing arrow sticker on the bottom. If the arrow is facing backwards(pointing back at the tender) you should be able to gently turn the 4 wheel truck around so that the arrow is facing forward. If that is the issue, then your train should run. If not, then the issue is likely internal to the locomotive. You could try fixing it yourself if you're good with taking things apart,soldering wires, and then reassembling them. If not, then you'll have to go to bachmanntrains.com in order to submit a repair ticket. Repair cost is $115.00,(you pay shipping to them)and is only offered to the original owner. Thanks! According to my GPS, my yak is getting a max speed of 3.76 mph using the r/c aircraft prop. I may go back to the original prop on my Minn Kota Endura Max 55 due to issues with weeds where I've been fishing lately. Weeds can wrap around the exposed propeller shaft, and bring it to a quick halt. Not so much with the upgraded prop from Minn Kota. We'll see.
