I was struggling with the same error in SolidWorks 2022 for hours. Tried everything until I found this post. The solution worked like a charm! Thanks a lot for sharing!❤

Everyone please know that if you install Solidworks outside of C drive and into any other drive (D drive for example) you should be copying the folders directly into the Solidworks folder in your drive, not the Program Files in C drive. Don't panic if you can't find the "Solidworks Corp" folder, like I said just replace the folders inside the folder containing Solidworks in your chosen drive. Tiếng việt: Nếu bạn cài đặt solidworks ở ổ đĩa khác ngoài ổ C (ví dụ ổ D), thì bạn phải copy các folder thẳng vô folder solidwork trong ổ đĩa mà bạn đã chọn chứ không phải trong Program files trong ổ C.
