Yes, it should reset once you change the battery. There's a way to upload custom backgrounds using the SD card. You need a specific resolution and folder name, forget exactly how I did it, but search online.

Saved my ass too! This also works for key start as well. Put the key fob in the little pocket thing and then take it out and start car

Im a retired auto transporter. Try pushing the start button with your remote. This will work too.

Can I install full exhaust system and use 2 servo buddy for front and rear without tune ? Does it harm the engine ?

If you install a full system, you can remove both servos, but you will need to update the ECU to tune everything. Tons of tuning options out there.

It’s not a trick all vehicles with fobs have this feature. It’s just in all different locations states it in owners manual

My key broke off of the fob and is doing this. The trick didn't work for me though. I'm having to use pliers to start the car and its taking me about 10 to 15 mins to get it started. And with each passing day it's get longer and longer I'm so tired of this and the key fob is expensive for me

I have a 2018 BWM s1000rr. The OBDlink connects to the Bluetooth on my phone but I am having trouble connection the software to the bike. Does anyone else have this problem? what did you to fix it?

Did you download the latest firmware? Is the bike on? You can't do anything with just the obd link connector. You need Motoscan to perform the operations.
